Has anyone tried the magnetic case with the freebie portable?

The charging speed is super slow and the portable gets hot, is it me doing it wrongly?

Oppo Find N5 fold isnt working with Android Auto at all. Vehicle couldn't detect the phone when connected via cable to it. Only can charge phone..

Any idea why? Anyone having same issue?

Google said need phone to be running on Android Pie Ver9. But our phone is colourOS. Is this the reason why it couldn't detect?

Also, it's not possible to install android auto into N5 as it's build into systems directly.
Bro, ColorOs is only the skin on top of Android. I believe N5 is Android 15(Vanilla Ice Cream) which is 6 versions after Android 9(PIE) .
Did you use the default cable that came with the N5? Try it.

I keep getting overheating error despite the phone is warm or lukewarm or hot. Happens anytime charging or not charging. So much so that it restrict my game my charging and taking photos. 1st time using oppo. Already turn off all the fancy stuff that might cause heat but still phone shows hot warning all the time.

Have 2 set, one with 70% overheat message. One with 25% overheat message. No background running. Any solution for u? My last Samsung I throw a ton of stuff open also never had a single overheat warning before.

Same kind of usage as you and I also didn't encounter any overheat warning. I know if you push the limit for gaming, likely it will throttle due to the thin design which ultimately cause heat dissipation to be an issue...but causing overheat warning msg could be due to software optimization need more work. Whatever the case, don't expect a phone this thin to perform great for resource intensive apps like games or equivalent.

What car unit you using to connect to AA? Try to force stop the software in your car unit and open again. See if that helps.

Maybe you want to remove the back case cover and see if the case is "trapping" the heat.

The weird thing is both N5 have heat warning issue. Me and my wife have different usage pattern and her phone got a lot of warning all the time. Mine have been 3 times. Anyway to disable overheat warning? Sometimes the phone is at most warm also kena the too hot warning.
