Curious, hw many regret buying the n5? For me, i still quite like the phone, slim and light is a major perk to me.

Same for me. I decided that it wasn't for me after 4 days of using it. You tend to forget that the screen is bigger than N3 after awhile, so it makes no difference there. Speakers on N5 is louder but sounds worse at higher volumes. The camera function is not much of an improvement, on par at best. Although 120x shots get enhanced with AI, most times the photos just comes out extremely unnatural rendering it equally unusable on N3. All in all, not worth the price to upgrade.

Funny thing. after using the N5 for 4 days and going back to N3, i have started to use my N3 naked and it doesn't feel that chunky anymore.

It's sad that I was expecting my case to arrive today, only to find out that the shipping status hadn't been updated. When I contacted customer service, they told me the parcel was lost and advised me to request a refund. I then reached out to the seller, who was already aware of the issue and had shipped a replacement yesterday. Now, I have to wait another week for it to arrive. Looks like I'll have to make do with the in-box casing for another week

Yes it did but removed the front protector glass, used another harder+clearer glass sp bought elsewhere. Camera lens none but the edges' raised+metal surrounding it.

What charging solution are you guys using? Just a standard PD cable with a GaN charger capped at 13W charging speed? Any GaN charger that supporting SuperVooc? Or at least normal Vooc? Or any powerbank support not only supervooc but other PD, QC as well?

I don’t use the original charger because I prefer something more portable and one charger and charging multiple devices such as MacBook and Watch. I travel frequently and don’t want to keep unplugging the charger from under my desk since it’s not easily accessible. That’s why I never even used the original charger in the first place. Currently with my GaN charger + CtoC cable, it capped at 13W, with Honor Wireless Charger it capped at 10W.

Yesterday, while outstation in Malaysia, I suddenly had an ad-hoc morning meeting. My battery was only at 30% because I hadn’t planned to leave the hotel in the morning, so I didn’t bother charging it overnight. I quickly plugged it into my GaN charger before heading for a shower, expecting a decent boost. But when I came back, it had only increased from 30% to 35%! At that moment, I really wished I had SuperVOOC charging. It's not something I need often, but in rare cases like this, it would have been a lifesaver.

I never regretted but seeing low-ball offers of $1k for my xf3p is sian,so I am thinking to go back and selling this N5 instead, to negate the loss

Xf3p loss of $700
N5 should be at most $50

not trolling, but I didn't regret not buying the phone. If you put on a case, does it still feel thin and light? I doubt so. It becomes just as 'heavy' as other foldables.

The huge downgrading of the camera system is a deal breaker for me.

I wish n3 has wireless charging. would have gotten it now (with the knowledge of the specs of n5). That's the missing piece I was hoping for...
