Nope, there is no pre-installed audio player app. Use spotify (if you are a subscriber) and enable local file access.

Not selling the phone. Appreciate any advice on how to transfer my 52GB of WhatsApp data from my iPhone 15 Pro Max to the N5 as the native method using the N5 transfer is not working. Most of the chats are still missing when I open WA on the N5 after the transfer. Thanks.

WhatsApp transfer is very buggy, especially from iphone to Android. Even android to Android (direct transfer) has high chance of failing, unless you are using GDrive method.

I end up giving up after few days of trying and keep failing. Manually exported all important chats for refence just in case and heck care about the rest.

Some people recommend PAID 3rd party software, but I refused to anyhow use random unknown software

i think there is no default email app for N5. It is using GMail app as the default email app. You can use this GMail app to include your other non-gmail email accounts, eg. yahoo, outlook, etc. The catch is while all GMail/ google workspace emails will be an instant realtime sync/ push notification, but other non-google email will be within 15 minutes interval.

it is different to Samsung where it has Samsung Email (that you can use to collect all your email accounts, including your Gmail), but there is no such thing as Oppo email app, especially for N5.

But honestly, the number is a bit pointless to me (i used samsung email before).

I found in my N5 when I have adjusted the brightness, it will auto dim down when I toggle between different applications, for example from youtube to the browser, try to find the settings that affect this but not the ambient auto brightness. Anyone has same issue?

I am also trying to look for ways to use deepseek as in china version of the N5. Also how do we install app that is only in china like bilibili, 豆包？

It happened today also....very annoying...already lost important photos which capture my kid's birthday moment somemore today still the same!!



Tried with watermark ON/OFF, save as HEIC or JPG, Portrait mode and normal mode, all the same. Screenshot captured got no issues, only camera taking photos have issues...the photo look unclear Abit and unable to share. When want to share it show the error above. Internet connection is fine.

Have you tried restarting the phone?

Any email app all emails like Gmail n yahoo for oppo?

I am also looking to integrate deepseek into the phone. Apparently global sets come with germini which is less capable as deepseek version u can give command to open multiple applications at a go but germini struggle at even opening 1

How I Back Up and Transfer WhatsApp When Changing Phones (Android to Android)

Old Phone:

1. Enable Airplane mode to prevent any changes to WhatsApp data. Or turn off data and wifi, whichever works.

2. Perform a WhatsApp backup without using Google Drive. Ensure that the file /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Databases/msgstore.db.crypt14 reflects the most recent backup time. In other words, it should be the latest version.

3. Compress the folder /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.whatsapp into multiple volumes. I set each volume to 3.9GB.

4. You can either zip it locally first and then transfer it to a thumb drive or portable SSD, or zip it directly to a thumb drive to save time.

New Phone:

5. Insert your SIM card.

6. Install WhatsApp, launch it once, then close it immediately.

7. Rename the existing folder /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.whatsapp to something else.

8. Extract the backed-up data to /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/. I use RAR for its speed, but you can use any app of your choice.

9. Launch WhatsApp, proceed with the setup, and it should detect the local backup. Restore it, and you're good to go!

I heard some devices have over heating issues, speaker is not as loud, and ultra wide resolution and pix is not great. Any other issues ? I have Z Fold 5 and considering to jump ship. Happy when I tested the double click volume button to launch camera when screen is off (love that). Samsung has really good AI object removal. Does Oppo have similar ?

On the fence. Any other Samsung Fold users can let me know what they missed when switching to Oppo N5?
