You should also try to understand the product more, by last Friday, you can already know the return you get today is zero. Because weekend is "non-trading" so the NAV does not change, what you get on Monday is actually the NAV difference from last Thursday to Friday.
It is better to look at the returns on a longer term basis, or at least on a monthly basis rather than focus on short term fluctuations. For the current situation, usually when the short term returns is on the higher side of 3%, it is not sustainable for this type of product to go higher, so it will pull back a bit and go sideways, eventually it will just average out.
