The first thing which came to my mind was how short our time on this Earth was.

Before we know it, LKY had passed away ten years ago. Sim Wong Hoo, two years liao. Some of my favourite singers (of my generation....) include Teresa Teng, Feng Fei Fei, Robin and Maurice Gibb, boxers like Muhammad Ali, all now gone, and fortunately, there's the internet and YouTube to bring those memories back. But they're only memories, and the actual person is gone for good.

A year came and passed. 2024. Then, Trump became POTUS on 20 Jan this year, and the world became messy. Messier. Times aren't looking bright ahead. Such is the world we inhabit in our short life.

I am actually quite a religious person, and that is my benchmark.
