Does anyone knows how this works.
i read as 6% of the total income tax payable will be given as total cash rebates and the cash rebates will be disseminated monthly over a 12 months instalments. By following all 3 steps per UoB’s instructions, total income tax payable will be in 12 instalments and the cash rebates will be given mthly. Cash rebates are capped based on one’s MAB.

is that rite ?

already contacted CSO via Chat Assist 30 mins ago. He said he will raise a ticket to UOB team :)

did the same ... CSO "K" replied :

"The new TnC will be updated regarding the new promotion sir instead of the Pot of Gold Promotion TnC

Since it's a new promotion, the MAB might be comparing to the latest one instead of December 2024

Please wait for the new TnC sir, we will upload a new one"

Yes, I am taking part...
I withdrawed my Stash acct till 1k on 1-March (so my ABD for March is 1k), so today (1-April), I deposit 100k to make it 101k and also sign up for the promotion form.
Hope the above is able to entitle me for the $320 bonus and at the same time get the 3% from Stash acct interest...
Any comment/advise.
I just registered and deposit $100k as well.

I mentioned in my earlier post .... if you make the bank changes today, it will be too close to the 6th Apr 2025 deduction (since 6 Apr is a Sunday, GIRO deduction will be on 7 Apr). That's why personally I will make the changes after the Apr GIRO deduction with the current bank.

If you edit the eGIRO using the bank websites, you will not notice this. But if you amend the bank details using IRAS website, there will be a popup alert message (about the possibility of new GIRO plan with deduction starting from May 2025 onwards.

ohh so what will actually happen? will i get deducted from UOB on the 6th? as my last payment for the FY, then iras will auto rebalance and deduct the 'correct' value on may6th onwards?

IRAS will be sending you an updated GIRO plan within next couple of days indicating the new GIRO deduction date (if tax is payable) and also indicating the bank account to be deducted.

made the giro switch on the bank this morning and then on iras website around 7pm.
iras note very confusing:
1. says UOB will deduct 7 april (monday) but then
2. shows a plan for may 25 to apr 26.

went to check my UOB account, saw that giro was now set up.
also have an sms which confirmed switch to uob successful.

All you do (switch Giro) is for UOB income tax rebate? Is it worth the trouble compared with still using iPaymy and Cardup?
