got hit with account locked/suspended as i was transferring money out. Usually takes how long to get it unlocked?

My online and mobile access also got suspended / account locked while trying to transfer my holdings out to another bank. Yet I'm now on the SCB hotline phone waiting to get connected cuz its busy. Zzz...SCB like trying to hold up our money.

Update: Relevant team will call within 24 hours to question me on the transaction. Expedited to try to call within an hour.

I give up on SCB. Tried transferring fund into my account but was rejected. Then I tried another 2 accounts to transfer fund into my account. Again all deposits got rejected. Then decide to make withdrawal but encountered no problem. What the heck they doing? I gave up on this bloody bank. Going leave it dormant just like my life member credit card which has been dormant for the past 15 over years.

After other deposits from 3 banks were rejected, I tried making a withdrawal and it was successful. Later I tried depositing $100 it was also rejected. What you think they are suspecting?

if im not wrong, if account dormant, some bank systems will freeze any incoming fund to prevent ML/scam.
will need to call in to do some verifications (i.e account owner checks) before lifting the "dormancy"

You haven't ask them why? Usually cannot deposit means they froze it pending CDD or relationship closure.

Did you use existing payee details to transfer? Any chance that the bank name on your saved payee record is outdated?

Public bonus interest is in. The amount did not take into consideration inward transfers on 30th March (Sunday).

Base interest was adjusted, but not bonus interest.

Only my SCB credit card was dormant since Dec 2012 with completely no trx since then as I am a life time member with 3 free sup cards, yet when I wrongly presented my credit card for payment in Jun 2024, that solitary trx was approved. Then no trx thereafter till now.

My esaver was open in 2006 at a computer fair. They placed a deposit of $1 for me to open account on the spot and later they made me a priority member some years later. I was invited for promo interest Jun 2018 to 2019, but did not subscribe for it. Ha ha then in Jul 2019 they gave me a letter wanting to terminate my savings account and credit card. What a ****,

My last deposit of 300k in Nov 2024 was migrated to MBB. Considered dormant since Nov 2024? Dormant can still withdraw money but cannot deposit money only? What **** is that.
