I bought something similar for my 13U 2 years back, I remembered during the initial 13U launch there wasn't any macro functionality for the phone's camera. Hence bought the fotorgear cover with the screw on 75mm macro lens.

Now with software updates, XM 13U is able to take closeups.

With the lens attachment can zoom even further in...

The only issue is it is very cumbersome to keep taking the lens out here and there just to take a few photos when out and about. (need to take out my existing 13U phone case to wipe off dust before screwing on the attachment too, means bringing additional wipes and microfiber cloths)

on the side note, just received 15U today yay. Now just have to wait for the phone case and screen protector to arrive.

I see miku Nendo hahahahaha

Anyone has this Xiaomi fast wireless charger ?

If it charges decently fast I can use a 90 deg USB C to run a file hub between my portable SSD and card readers instead of lugging my ipad pro during overseas trip.

Looks like they have fast wireless charger for vehicles as well.

I only got the previous one 50W from my 12S ultra.... never use already... Even if you use 12s ultra if you put 3rd party casing + filter need abit of mod before it work... haha

TIL that Xiaomi blocks something else if you use 3rd party launchers. Google CTS. Oddly it works when at home though but as long as there an app, when you press and hold the home button nothing happens.

Vibrancy saturation etc can be mostly tweaked via software and shooting profiles but end of the day if the sensor cannot capture details, it cannot capture details.

( Of course nowadays can " invent " details )

Software can only do so much—if the sensor lacks detail, no amount of tweaking can fully fix it. AI upscaling helps, but it's still not the same as real captured detail loh

hey peeps. any of you using maybank app with the phone (or xiaomi phones)?

the app keeps prompting me that the following poses security risks and should be uninstalled:
- mi doc viewer (WPS)
- mi mover
- xiaomi community
- notes (xiaomi's)
- calendar (xiaomi's)

is it okay to delete/uninstall these from xiaomi? or anyways to deactivate them? will it affect the functionality of the phone?

thanks heaps...

Nope. Maybank app only complains about Omron (bloodpressure) app.

I just went ahead and uninstall some of them (WPS, Note, Calendar) and now there's no more warning prompt.

I cannot seem to hit high charging speeds with my Ugreen GAN chargers (* I have 3 at home ) and can " only " hit around 30W charging rate on those led indicators. ( GAN chargers and Ugreen cables are rated fast chargers )

However only with the Xiaomi charger the phone shows quick charge 90W on the phone.

Xiaomi quick charging is unfortunately poperitery. It's some odd USB Power delivery values. The only "3rd party" GaN charger I find that work with Xiaomi hypercharge is Cuktech ones. "3rd party" with quotations becuase they used to be the OEM for xiaomi but now is a wholly owned subsidiary.
30+W is the fallback quick charge if you use any other brands.

Tried switching cables.

Only Xiaomi charger and compatible fast USB C cables can trigger "90W fast charge" indicator on 15 Ultra.

Other cables can only trigger 30W charging max.
