Please lar NTUC branding nowadays probably dun mean as much... if anything I think because of the market share they have in Singapore, they kinda stagnant... and until now they still charging the service fees on top of delivery they introduced during Covid... while Redmart dun do that. Or else I can use Amazon Fresh while that requires Prime membership but that same membership actually does so much more than just offset delivery fees.

I agree with the labour market part. But she is a homemaker taking care of her 2 kids that also means that she understands the difficulties in bringing up young children and the increase of expenses.

There is always a first time. You go into a company as a fresh grad with no working experience and no contribution - why did the company hire you? Because they trust you can do the job over time. The logic is the same for new election candidates.

We don't know we can learn. But in life we must have that someone who trust you to give you the first chance. this is called your life's 贵人.
