He replied candidly: "I bought six bitcoins, something like 12 or 13 years ago at US$300 (then S$384) each." He has managed to keep six of them. She believes that to make a bigger difference, she needs to join politics.
"It's not just about flagging issues upwards, but bridging the gap between policy and the people. And also, it's not just about the grand gestures. Sometimes it's about helping elderly residents apply for amenity fund or connecting someone to respite services. And this is something that is very, very close to my heart, because at the end of the day, policies are national, but trust, compassion, kindness are personal, and that's where I truly hope that I will be given a chance to make a difference if elected as your MP."
