I think Tampines is more winnable than Punggol. It's a great move to move Faisal Manap who is super popular with the malay committee and the other 4 heavyweights are extremely strong in the WP lineup

George Yeo lost cos of lim here hua ( insisted to build domintory at serangoon garden) and Cynthia phua unpopularity.

Serangoon garden residents tulan vote her out. Since then, Sylvia Lim take care of the residents there well. Make door to door visits regularly. The residents there pleased with her from the ground

Pritam Singh bedok reservoir residents also praised him. Sure at the market and can see him walking around. He also hold town meeting asking them what to do with the funds received.

Pap also got do build metal rail and keep asking LTA and hdb to saman people. This is their style

BB became Bukit Batok - Jurong East. BB did not disappear completely

Given CSJ's popularity in BB, I would think many in Jurong East would want to give him a chance

I think Paul Tambyah and him could take down this weak Grace Foo. Think bigger and make a win for his team. Not that I want PAP to loose but CSJ is one of those oppo I wish could get in

Now in Sembawang, he's just a new comer. Just so he can KS Kervyn who has been working there for many years

If a rubbish oppo like NSP can get 33%, it means that a real credible opposition has chance.
You see west coast pap votes in 2015, also flip when PSP enters the fray.

This GMS and his party brain abit sot. If you dont intend to contest to win the elections, contest for ****? Contest just to give voters a chance to vote is stupid and irresponsible. As LKY said, politics is not a game of cards. Its your life and mine. They think they playing some kind of game where they just try their luck and hope somehow voters swing and get them into parliament. WP is under no obligations to tell anyone that they are not going to contest if they are not ready. Much less telling a party that is not prepared to contest just for the sake of letting voters vote. I rather let PAP walkover than let some random party try their luck with some dubious team. They can keep contesting and losing their deposit if they want. Thats the power of democracy
