New customer monthly subscription is cheaper with additional discount..

Old customer re-contract the subscription fee is higher

SG is all about change. "Improvement"
Sometimes change in name of improvement become worse then become problem then to fix is improve and change back to something like the original but call it new then repeat.

Need to attract new customers. Most places adopt this strategy.

Not everything pro new. Politicians most people prefer the old ones.

That’s becoz data showed them old customers don’t run away
Charge u high u still stay with them… :o

can always threaten to terminate, then see whether yr subscription is cheaper or not :(

The funniest thing is the old customers continued to remain in singtel, complain plan is expensive, but forgot to look out there are better and cheaper alternatives like mvno.

even credit card gifts give for new subscribers, not existing ones

EP compensate pay with the no. of years in a company, locals pay stagnant for years.

So after certain age .
The EP salary auto increase if not the company have to let go..
So the company will fulfill the wage increment. Locals stay stagnant, unless you're working in GLC. And many companies don't even have AWS and bonuses nowadays.

Gov helping foreigners while locals are ignored.

For Example EP at 30yo the min wage is $2k


If the EP current salary is $1.5k.

When he reach 30yo, to renew EP pass his salary will up to $2K

If at 40yo the min wage is $5k
To renew EP pass, the EP salary at 40yo auto upgrade to $5k.


That is what i know of. Correct me if wrong.. because EP for different age group got different Min Salary.

Yes you're there. So the gov is helping foreigners to have autp pay increment. Locals are stuck with the same pay, while the gov can only give you some vouchers.
