i'm a foreigner here.. all the Shopee sellers say don't need to worry about GST and there will be no additional charges / taxes. is it OK to trust them? I did buy a Vivo in Singapore earlier this year but purchased in person from a shop. this will be my first time ever ordering a costly phone using Shopee.. just want to make sure it's true that no GST at customs? I'm assuming these sellers have someone physically bring across the border? i don't understand how any of this works
It should be "factored" into their pricing. Get from a reputable seller though.

I think buying from shopee should be relatively safe. Even if they charge you additional $$ or scam u, the most you don’t release the money to them and make a complain with shopee customer support , showing your chat conversations with them. Those who bought via shopee before correct me if I’m wrong 😬

Think long ago can, but recently years changed coz it happened too frequently the seller just resealed and resell as new ( I kena used item resealed before proceed to return and refund). As long as it's unsealed (unless you have the sealing machine) cannot return due to change of mind if already opened.

i thought shopee still have 15 Days Free Returns policy, maybe for certain products? anyway some of these buyers really abuse this policy which was offered as goodwill gestures.

You can return if it's sealed and new? I'm talking about you can't return gadgets due to change of mind if you already opened and used it.

Main concern is whether fingerprint still works actually. Cause taobao got many sellers like to buy fake reviews to boost ratings.
