The continuity of the party will now be the focus.
Since Ah Bock stated that they are ready to work with WP, then maybe can take this opportunity (for some members) to join their ranks and also help to extend WP's reach.

Existing PSP network + WP funding and reputation = ???

They can hold their heads high.

Lost to gerrymandering by ELD which is supposed to be impartial .

And if the parties roles are reversed, you hear no end about the former anchoring minister names "iswaran".

And to those who laugh at LMW "antics" in the parliament , I do hope you enjoy your sleeping ones.

It is unlikely WP will accept them. WP prefers fresh faces aka new images, not someone with bagages.

The hard truth is most Singaporeans will only take a second look at one opposition party, i.e. WP. This election said it all.

All the mosquito parties will never be accepted by most Singaporeans even in the next election. Singaporeans wanted high caliber candidates who are lawyers, doctors, CEOs, PhDs, millionaires, and so forth. They also wanted their candidates who can speak well, eloquent, carry themselves well, etc. This is the hard truth of Singapore politics. Do not compare with other countries. The dynamics are totally differently.

This is so obvious to all political parties. Why did the mosquito parties want the voters to insult yourselves? Or you are thinking that the voters are gullible? Leave some dignities to your party members and ceased the parties immediately. Your exit won't be missed. Just looked at Reform Party.

Most likely PSP will merge with SDP to consolidate the party strength.

I doubt LMW will return in the next election.

Regardless, am thankful for him for seeking more clarity and transparency in getting the employment data to be released differentiating between Singaporean and Singaporean PR. :o

Unlikely because Chee wanted to call the shot. His ideology is also totally different from TCB.

Unless Chee retired from politics, then it may be possible for SDP to merge with PSP.

Can feel their disappointment ..

LMW work so hard and get mocked..

This is what he get..
What to do? The majority of SG seems to treat LMW's effort like a clown (aligned with PAP) only pockets of supporters recognize his effort

Yes, many people just focused on the huge turnout at opposition rallies, and thought that they will score big. That's why PAP has never expressed concerned on the huge turnout at opposition rallies. They know that the middle ground voters are the decisive group to any elections.

We have a huge new citizens population in Singapore now. The dynamics have changed so much. Many SMEs bosses are new citizens.

And more new citizens will be imported given the ultra low fertility rate in Singapore. One PRC told me before - "dare the government not grant me citizenship! You Singapore does not not enough babies. Without new citizens, Singapore is finished". This is a hard truth. Singapore has nothing except human capital.

Actually you don't have feel sorry for him. He had already done what he can.

Lao Goh had mentioned before - "when you walked into the polling station, think about your own interest, not your friends, nor your colleagues, nor your neighbors". Your own interest is the key. This is a golden phrase in understanding human behavior and psychology.

Many voters do not mind high cost of living, high GST, high property prices because they know that they have no control over it, and they also know that PAP will definitely returning and forming the new government since no opposition can win more than 1/3 seats. Since it is the case, what can the opposition do to stop the GST hike, high cost of living, etc given that opposition does not have even 1/3 seats. WP MPs can only kpkb in parliament but when come to voting to pass the bills/policies, etc they will be passed given the super majority by the incumbent.

Voters will only look at current tangible benefits. $1 for bread + Milo + Eggs, etc. Something that they can feel and touch. Looked at the queues at CCs, etc. CDC and all kinds of vouchers as well as rebates which they can feel it.

Opposition has no monies to do such thing. Some don't even have posters / flyers to distribute. It is so pathetic. You don't even know such party existed. Do you think that you can win over the voters. Politics is also about money. Who has the deepest pocket will score.

I don't know, but having Leon Pereira host the rally, I felt was a bad move.
Yup. You were right.

When I saw Leon Perera as an MC, I got a shocked, as I am someone who values moral and reputation. Seeing someone like Leon who engaged in extra marital affairs made me furious, and that moment, I questioned my support to PSP, and wondered if this party's values actually align with mine. I almost wanted to vote for PAP because of Leon, until my sibling came over to my house and we discussed this issue. Then after much consideration, I decided to continue my support for PSP, but vowed to myself that if Leon become a PSP member in the next election, I will not vote for the party.

Now it seems, PSP will be no more.

Maybe he consider join WP :cautious:
Am sadden that PSP lost.

Not that they ain’t good.

Just that they lack the popularity which WP has built (give credit where credit is due) - but even that, can only bring/take WP so far, as evident from the results of this GE.
