Pogi!

Ran 8.20 2.4km yesterday.
Did it with my old carbon plated shoes with 375km of mileage.
Weather was hot around 30C.
Attempted a 3k time trial the day before at 3.37 min/km but wasn’t satisfied so decided to run 2.4k the next day.
Not the best conditions but will take the PB.

Also reminds me, carbon plated shoes allowed for IPPT anot?
I bringing my Deviate Nitro 2 to train in camp during ICT but dunno if I should bring my Nitro Elite 3 for IPPT![]()
I have the elite nitro 2, it is not really a fast shoes. Lack the pop of a super shoes. but a good daily trainer though for short distances. Long distance if you are not the sweaty type.Man the speed

very happy to see this VF3 in my size in us outlet. Was 110 usd after further discount. The other colourways are 189.90
Bread and butter for any distance runner except ultra. Is doing HIIT running good?
My considerations are:
To build strength/leg muscles, not so much for stamina performance.
Total 35 mins inclusive of warm up 10 mins, cool down 10 mins.
Heart rate most at zone 2 and 3, short intervals zone 4.
Forgot to mention that I don't wish to overstrain and causing cortisol increase. Is it too contradicting to my original goal?Bread and butter for any distance runner except ultra.
Sorry, don't know much about this cortisol thing. High intensity training is usually about only 20% in volume, or session for distance runner. So it's not really that high volume. For most people is just once a week. And the rest of the week roughly 80% is only zone 2 or mixture of grey zone and zone 2 if you are training for a race.Forgot to mention that I don't wish to overstrain and causing cortisol increase.
