There is a big swing against Dr Paul, similar to LMW

Overall PAP support hit 80% in some GRCs which is record high

My thinking is that it is due to Lawrence's personal popularity and the new PM effect, which will taper over time like the stock and crypto market right now

If WP has big sponsor(s), it will be different in the East.

Based on the demographics, nobody will win West, North, South and Central. The only crack is in the East. That's why opposition should only contest in the East. The rest can just walkover.

I think sponsors are more willing to sponsor a party which has official MPs and constituency than a party with only NCMP or no representative in parliament, that's why WP has the resource to conduct outreach, events and food distribution regularly, they are much more active on the ground than PSP, SDP and mosquito parties

No one want to sponsor mosquito party who can only get the vote of no confidence votes and come out only on Facebook or Tik Tok to KPKB or every 5 years to talk cock sing song. Most of the money comes out from the candidates and their family pocket.

Hope this setback will make the party stronger. I still believe Singapore needs a minority 3rd party seeing WP is too pap lite. if they need financial assistance to survive I will do my part, however just make sure the party comes back stronger

in other countries, their parliament has 2 or more parties in the parliament.

We can't just have WP inside. Their voices itself is not enough. The 14th parliament, see how much difference is the parliament with 2 PSP voices as compared to just WP talking.
