Is 9800X3D overkill for 5070TI?

Currently opting for 7800X3D with 5070TI build, should I just top up around 220 and go for 9800X3D instead?

Intend to play 4k240hz with dlss4.
Cod Bo6, warzone, Diablo 4 etc.

price difference 220 sgd, worth?

1 thing I’m not happy about is official rrp is 30 usd more than 7800X3D. Even from techyard site during sale now price diff is 70 sgd, but they don’t let me top up 70 sgd for the better cpu, asked for 220. Thinking now

Actually, I think I lose because my opponents mostly use auto aim bot or something, I sniper rifle keep losing to some idiot shooting with normal rifle and auto headshot which is rubbish. Or maybe is just skill issue.

However most of the time i rank bottom on my team, so maybe its a skill issue

I using g502 X lightspeed, keyboard is G915 TKL, speakers use KEF LSX II and KC62 subwoofer.
Second setup same, only speakers are Sonos Beam 2 and Sonos sub 3 + 2x Sonos ones as surrounds.

Good keyboard - nowadays paik game is use TWS with lc3 audio (older protocol is le audio)
AKG N5 HYBRID ( ebay cheaper) - can use 2.4 ghz to transmit reloading sound

or find those with inbuilt dongle since all at 5ghz wifi. meaning more space in 2.4

Overcpupower but i will buy it.at most point, 7800x3d first gen users also will want a 9800x3d since the chase for fps neverending.
