Old funan had this french restaurant on level 2 (i think) was quite good

I used to frequent it last time. They started off from the last time Phoenix hotel located in now 313 orchard.

Went there as a class to celebrate graduation back when they were in Phoenix. Good french food at reasonable price. I wonder where they are now.

When I was young, my dad would bring me to this place “fuma centre”. I think it was Funan centre and I remembered crying cos there were so many escalators.

But I also remembered there was a car lift in the area so it might have been the old peninsular plaza or something. Very hazy memory liao

Capitaland is an ambitious company. They won't tahan laidback malls like this anymore. Although their Westgate Mall is quite a failure due to non-aircon and poor shop mix.

who will want to no aircon shopping mall in this kind of heat?? Westgate should just tear down n built in to hotcake 100 storeys condos and 7 storeys of shopping mall with one giant pool in the top with SLA blessings to maximise profits.
