What's it got to do with you? This person under you one?
No. Fellow colleague but boss wants me to be around for the handover even though wep perform vastly different functions. Could be an opportunity to learn new stuff and fill a new role. Not sure if i want to anyway though

Can company do without you for 8 weeks? If really so, means you not that crucial operationally.

Normally 2 weeks is quite standard, anything longer probably is like a one-off wedding honeymoon kind of thing.

I seldom see ppl go on holidays for > 2 weeks, even for directors

I dun need so many days AL

So stress at work you give me so many days also no point. Like today I came back after 4 days leave only, 1000+ emails to sort out. Omg.

I would rather just have 14 days. End of the year just take 7 days AL to travel. Make use of the weekend can go for a 9d8n trip. Enough for me . Thursday to friday
Then u can always forfeit leave ma since you so reluctant to clear

Sounds like a very precarious company to be in. Imagine your colleague quit then company becomes insolvent.
