Saw that UOB stash has a minimum initial deposit of 1k, but Min balance is waived for 1st 6 months when opened online.

Anyone know how long you have to make the initial deposit? Thinking to open now but deposit funds only next month.

i probably move my money over here as well and not earmark. they probably give one month notice before revising the rate down. rare to see stash having the highest rate in the market. at least got the min balance waiver for 6 mths. early account closure fee is also 6 months long. so can keep the account empty for the remaining period if rate get revised down.

Realise June is not a good month to start cos 1 Jun is a Sunday so the value date of transactions will be 2 June, and the ADB for the month will be lowered… maybe try for July but don’t know how rates will be then.

You transfer funds in immediately on the day your account is opened? I was thinking to open first then transfer in at the start of the month, so will be 1 day of zero account balance since 1st business day is 2 June.

Sounds like better to open on 2nd June itself and fund the account immediately.

I open it on 3rd March Monday. Then fill the form to join the promo. Then fund in. All within 3rd itself.
I already have existing log in access to UOB fyi. For those totally new to UOB I'm not sure how long it takes for you to be able to log in.

Actually now is uob one or stash better.. Feel like closing stash
The EIR for UOB One is higher at SGD 150,000 (provided you can fulfill the conditions) as compared to UOB Stash at SGD 100,000. If you have sufficient funds, you can just deposit in both accounts.
