gamersgate is not deepcool, and it is known to be chui, subsidary or not. its like u go buy a volvo, but came a geely. better recheck yr specs build, i doubt they will do this. its almost borderline fraud

I was researching on prebuilt PCs and ultimately decided on Mansa, they deliver all the boxes of PSU/GPU/Motherboard with your PC.
Bought Super Flower PSU 1000 even tho it's overkill.

PSU really no joke, a good one should last until you change PC, not pop pop randomly.

I have played with corsair, seasonic and thermaltake, none actually failed me for like 5yrs + .. this is the first time i had a psu last less than 3mths..

TS did you get any aftershock when your psu kaput?

I brought 1 cpu then upgrade 3070 n psu later, for some reason when ever I plug in the cpu the breaker trip. Both old and new psu the same I wonder izzit my breaker problem or psu

I only used the cpuid, gpuz and memtest to make sure specs are accurate and stable..

But yeah...i forgot to check the brands/model etc..

Gamerstorm is a sub brand under Deepcool.

So i bought a full pc system from aftershock since on feb and last night psu kabut with 2 loud pop sound.

And today after talking to the CS through via WhatsApp. I decided to replace another brand of PSU from them.. But im curious why the current brand deepcool is so bad so i decide to peek on it.

Turns out the PSU is not deepcool but rather it is gamerstorm, a subsidiary from deepcool brand and somehow i feel short change.

The invoice stated it is Deepcool 850w ATX 3.0 cyber platinum but it turns out to be gamersgate..

Should i ask them for clarification??

Which is why if anyone ask me can I recommend Aftershock is no.
You be shock they use a lot of cheap parts, motherboard, case, SSD, PSU, fan etc.
Depending on which GPU you are using.

If it uses this 12vhpwr confirm the PSU cannot take it.
I did saw one of AS rig it came with RTX 4070 but uses a Deepcool non-modular PSU
with no 12vhpwr.

Wattage is 850 watt which is by right enough but like what TS encounter the quality is....
You can ask AS what they can offer you, proably they will offer you the next worse option.

Just stick to the usual shops like fuwell, pcthemes, laser and it should be fine... If one knows nut about computers, then too bad. I hope those shops are still around, didn't go there for ages...

Take it as a lesson learned and never look back again. I've already moved on as I have my fair share of experience.

Im asking them to change to another good brand .. they claimed the model i had is oem manufactured by gamerstorm and it is make by deepcool ..
