Prices will be different in different countries. FYI phone/tablets more expensive in Europe compared to Singapore, it's all relativeActually our local specs really throw face. Taobao all China tablet comes with the high end snapdragon 8 or demensity 8+ chip all going for $300-400.
And G99 G100 might as well be the exact same cpuI had fond memories of my time with the first Pad. However, it is rather disappointing that Pad 2 only comes with a Helio G100 and still, same old 18w charging.
Update: Kay, I went ahead and bought the Pad 2 Wifi via Shopee for $218.

Yeah. If I recall correctly, I bought one of the last BNIB sets of Redmi Pad in Singapore one year ago for.....I think $248?And G99 G100 might as well be the exact same cpu
Only a small handful of phone's camera will make it of it when shooting full 200mp mode
I have the OG Redmi Pad, if purely for media viewing i think it's great since the speakers really are good which I didn't regret buying even if A76 nodes are already outdated even for 2022 when it was outYeah. Considering this new Pad 2 has increased ram, storage and battery at $218, I decided I'd just go for it despite the Helio G100. At the very least, the SoC still meets my needs.
Oooh yess! The Redmi Pad's speakers were tuned really loud and robust, even better than my previous Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 and maybe even my Xiaomi Pad 6.I have the OG Redmi Pad, if purely for media viewing i think it's great since the speakers really are good which I didn't regret buying even if A76 nodes are already outdated even for 2022 when it was out
But if not after the speaker and willing to venture I'll probably whack any of those chinese tablet (Lenovo Xiaoxin, Alldocube, Teclast, Headwolf, Lincplus) from aliexpress/tabao
Yeah, the Poco Pad (256Gb) on Shopee is only $250ish after discount. And it does come with a capable mid-tier Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, Wifi 6 and 33w charging. Although I chose to buy Pad 2 mainly coz of the more compact size and potentially better battery life, I personally think that the Poco Pad is a more bang for the buck purchase during this salesi wonder i should get this 4g variant or redmi pad pro 5g... differences not too pricey. the only worry is redmi pad pro 5g is released last yr. not so good if buy now.
5g redmi pad pro still quite expensive, around $400i wonder i should get this 4g variant or redmi pad pro 5g... differences not too pricey. the only worry is redmi pad pro 5g is released last yr. not so good if buy now.
5g is $370.5g redmi pad pro still quite expensive, around $400
4g redmi pad 2 only around $270
agree, better to buy newer model5g is $370.
pad 2 is around $279
the only reason preventing me to buy the 5g is it only supports up to 2 years OS update. Being last year model, means end of support is next year. And security patch available only up to 3 yrs.
Pad 2 4G is selling for $258 at Redwhite Mobile and $248 at Vimobile5g is $370.
