My house quite square shaped, so place the router in the middle of the house got good coverage.

Viewqwest recently quite bad, especially at night. Even watch YouTube will buffer. Think quite a few users also feedback downtime happening quite often recently.

Maybe check with Singtel your issue. This one is good cos I can use the sim for overseas roaming data also since it comes with data roaming.

I also damn dulan with Viewqwest but I have 1.5 years left. Damn suay.

Now if got issue I dig out an old phone to use as mobile hotspot but speed limited to 4g or lower.

The plan is cheap and serves my needs for internet surfing and streaming. And added bonus of data roaming if needed. I have starhub 5G if I need higher speed to download stuff. It's way better than my current crappy viewqwest broadband.

Comparison of speed.

8 mobile.

Viewqwest. Now better already, just now only got 0.2mpbs. But still way slower than cellular broadband. I have given up on viewqwest.

Better not. Just last month, there was one whole week of outage.

ONE WHOLE BLOODY WEEK VIEWQWEST WAS DOWN.
