Don't think will go for another fibre provider for now since my home internet needs not super demanding. And mobile service provider more freedom since no contract.

How many people in your home now? So, all only using mobile phone, not a single PC or laptop using lan cables?

Got 2 mobile phones and a laptop. Ironically now with the sim router, since it is not required to be tethered to a wall fibre point, I can move the sim router around and place near my laptop and use wired now. Whereas previously I was using wireless for my laptop as the fibre router was away from my desk.

That's the problem with 4G or 5G routers. One of my friend previously complained....the technician kept telling him put it closer and closer to the window...my friend said, any closer it will already fall off the windows already...🤣 That was many years ago when one Malaysia Telco roll out a wimax something....their slogan was, "I cut already, have you cut?"🤣 so finally, ts cut the line.😅

The plan is cheap and serves my needs for internet surfing and streaming. And added bonus of data roaming if needed. I have starhub 5G if I need higher speed to download stuff. It's way better than my current crappy viewqwest broadband.

Comparison of speed.

8 mobile.

Viewqwest. Now better already, just now only got 0.2mpbs. But still way slower than cellular broadband. I have given up on viewqwest.

Viewqwest recently quite bad, especially at night. Even watch YouTube will buffer. Think quite a few users also feedback downtime happening quite often recently.
last time they had very good reviews one right?

Different router. The sim router is all in one.

My viewqwest modem is connected to a Xiaomi wifi router. Last time was ok one, then after the major downtime recently, become like that already. At night even worse, hover around 0.2-0.5mbps only, can't even watch YouTube smoothly.
