was nice and nostalgic for awhile, playing NES on such a big and portable screen

After awhile play less often and play more modern games like FFX

Eventually cancelled subscription

maybe u can give it a try see how it goes

Yes... even the old switch OLED play an hour also hands and arms can get abit tired

NSO sub is region free? Read SEA will have their own NSO and e shop soon.
If u have frens to play co op online then will need it..

Did you get the basic NSO or the one with the Expansion pass?

For me, it's more for the cloud saves - got 4 ppl on my home who will be using both the Switch 1 and 2, so there will be different save files that need cloud saves.

You can. I just did the other day. Switch to UK to redeem Mario Kart World game code, then switch back to US.

Can buy from Taobao which would be the cheapest way for now but still costing approx. $50sgd+/- shipped..

I think Nintendo has a limit on how often you can switch regions - once every six months or something. It's actually easier just to set up different Nintendo accounts for different regions. You'll need a different email address, of course. I have three accounts loaded as profiles on my Switches - US, Japan, and UK; and once SG has an eShop I will create a fourth. Different regions will have exclusives and sales during different periods, and not to mention leveraging exchange rates so you can get the best deal for a game/DLC.
