Why not f7? Heat issues?
Been an extensive user of F series, owned F13/4/5. Since the 6 series, the plain vanilla version is always priced at the awkward area (not providing better value than X7 pro/F7 pro)

For F7, why I wouldnt choose - aesthetics. Global version is plain ugly. China version main selling point was its premium looking aesthetics but the changes in global v color coding is just horrendous.

Another deal breaker is the chipset it uses. Gaming performance is even worse than X7 pro processor. Poor thermal controls and high power consumption with a smaller battery size, coupled with a bloated HyperOS system will make everyday use a headache. In India, got users saying that even at idle mode, the temperature of the phone is 45 degrees with a metal body frame and Singapore's weather, you won't want to burn your hands.

Value wise, pricing no good. China's pricing already dropped to 250-300 in their recent sale. Even at this price, I won't take because this chipset is not suitable for our climate.

Don't recommend F7, the last good Poco plain vanilla version was F5.

The tech haven't rollout/mature yet to have such functionalities. :s13:
Any device only allows up to 2 concurrrent SIM nia.
Haha i was thinking how they do it. Like 3 IMEI?
Or second space sort of stuff

Yup I never say xm change price, just saying some of us got screwed :ROFLMAO:
It will probably be even cheaper on 7.7 sale. Because the $30 poco voucher is still valid and there is a $77 off $400 spend shopee voucher.

Worth or not, it's up to you, it's your money

Just for reference, china equivalent models pricing for the recent 618 sale, the price you could get inclusive of tax and delivery
F7 (Redmi Turbo 4 Pro) $300++ I didn't monitor this model as I wasnt interested
F7 Pro (K80) $390-$450
F7 Ultra (K80 Pro) $550-$650

If your budget is limited and need global rom, just get X7 Pro for $350 or less.

Or you want good gaming performance and don't mind china phone, Iqoo Z9 Turbo+/Iqoo Neo 10 can be bought for $300-400

Global rom is always more expensive. If you are just getting a secondary phone, china roma are still alright. If for primary phone, better to get global rom, less headaches as china roms sometimes got issue with some of the apps.

i think you are right about x7 pro and f7.

F7
AnTuTu: 2,024,751 (v10)
GeekBench: 6,402 (v6)
3DMark: 3,953 (Wild Life Extreme)

X7 Pro
AnTuTu: 1,568,331 (v10)
GeekBench: 6,311 (v6)
3DMark: 3,880 (Wild Life Extreme)

their performance benchmark is really close.
at first i deciding between F7 and note 14 Pro+, since note has IR blaster.
now I google their FAQ they say F7 also have IR Blaster.

so is see whether you want MTK (X7 Pro) or SD (F7).

am user of F1/3/5 (with several note/x series in between) and i agree that F series lately have changed quite abit, no longer the best value "flagship killer" (or valueformoney mid-high range at least)
x6 pro & x7 pro are the better value at ~$320-350 (near launch), x6pro & F6 were clearing at $250-280 near the end of their last batches

updated shopee prices :

redmi note 14 pro+
12+256 $349

poco f7 POCO Official Store + POCO Official Store Global
12+256: 529 - 30shop - 70shopee = $430

poco x7 pro POCO Official Store Global
12+256: 429 - 20shop - 60shopee = $349
12+512 : 459 - 20shop - 60shopee = $379

F7 for similar performance benchmark ratings, feels the additional $80 not worth it.

imo wait few months, probably around 11.11, f7 drop to sub 400 then its worth it. longer software support better battery life for ~50 more.
