I m just comparing if I use the same amount to buy SGD Tranche , I would get lesser interest . Forex risk though

Just checked today and Astrea 8 values at 1.062 which is pretty high, just paid dividend and sell with 6% gains not bad quite tempting. Sell Astrea 8 and buy into Astrea 9 https://www.theedgesingapore.com/ne...ond-prospectus-launched-pricing-be-determined may not be a bad idea if the rate is good.

exchange rate roughly US$1 = S$1.2677 ....

My CDP has Astra 8 A2 shares, but isn't the interest be credited directly to the bank account like SSB interest? The first interest payment in Jan25 was received though. Not good at investment knowledge. Will check with my bank which I bought tomorrow if it is still not in.

Should be the correct bank as my SSB interest is received from the same bank and the first Astrea 8 A2 interest was received from it too.

I checked through my CDP profile, correct bank account, Astrea A2 interest payout was shown too dated 21 Jul 25. The only missing transaction is my bank account does not shown this amount credited, so the problem should be from the bank. Had left a message to my bank via their digibot, hope it will reply within 3 working days.

Yes, it shows active since xx xx 1998, currency conversion active since xx xx 2020. I just received SSB interest early this month so CDP definitely has no issue. Only this time Astrea A2 interest is not credited so it seems to be the bank problem or unless interest is despatched in different batches which seems unlikely too. May be will go down to branch to check if still not in by noon.

i think people need to understand not everything can be settled at branch.

the branch is there for a purpose yes, but many times such stuff, they will still have to probably call the same person you would call to check.

Astrea9’s yield can’t be higher than 8 one
So you’re going to a higher yield bond for a lower one? Very weird right?

Haha...think I was too tempted with the 10% gains in a year on Astrea 8 including dividend received and didn't think too much!
