I see alot landed houses renovating to 4 storeys.

Most landed homes in Singapore typically house just 5 to 6 people, assuming 2 to 3 kids and a helper, though some larger homes may have 2 maids. Multi-generational living under one roof is no longer the trend.

Not necessary as mine have 3 VRV compressors powering 10 aircons and it cost me 80k in 2017
