I'm looking to buy ceiling fans for my living room and common room. 4-rm hdb here.

Went to 2 different shops.... The salesperson at shop 1 suggested Bestar Falcon for good and cheap... He said is better than Fanco Rito but cant compared to Crestar Altis. Crestar is premium price with premium materials.

Shop 2 suggested Youkain 668.

Was deciding towards Bestar but seems like the previous few reviews are mixed.
Thinking of getting Crestar Altis but cost more than double the price of Fanco Rito....

Any suggestions?
I think Bestar and Youkain are same level. I saw many buy Youkain and they sometimes exhibited at some IT fair. Regardless of what you buy, need to manage expectations to prevent disappointment.

KDK Airy H56GP stocks is coming in end of the month. Those who are eyeing this model, previously only have 40" and 48", now you have a 56" model, 120cm wide

Can share the name of shop 1 ?

The shop I went also recommended Bestar over Fanco.

I also considered the Crestar. Good brand but premium price. I prefer to opt for lower price and try out first.

PM-ed you.

Thanks for the advice. Just hoping to get more reviews on Bestar and Youkain first.
If both are just so-so. I will go for Fanco. Use a few years spoil then replace. lol

I had a very old fanco last time. It lasted longer than my KDK and has more powerful wind. But it is those old ceiling fan so nothing fancy. I don’t think very expensive either.

Fanco seems to have quite a number of bad reviews complaining about bad quality and poor after-sales service.

My crestar lasted less than 5 years, speed went slower and slower with time. Repairs so costly (service + remote / driver), bought a brand new budget prism @ $200 more worth it.

Anyone gotten Alaska Exore?

Just got another KDK E48GP for my living room, in the end never get the new E56GP as it's too big. Bought for $390 with $389 using climate and cdc.

Just installed the KDK E48GP in the living room. The noise is really minimal even for the highest setting. The moonlight night light feature is good for night illumination of the living room, not alot ceiling fan or lights can do that.

Is the wind strong? Does it has 'strobing' effect with the LED light?

Wind is strong after speed 7, max is 10 speed. But if you are standing away from the fan, you can feel the natural wind like if you activate yuragi mode.

No strobing effect noticed, I bought one last year for my room, now got another one for living room. So far so good

I got it from my neighbourhood electrical store. Can use both climate and CDC vouchers (didn't even touch SG60 vouchers) yet. Price excludes installation, installation is $50, pay cash to the installer, which the shop will provide. If you need the shop details, let me know, these few weeks I saw a lot go hoot KDK fans cos they are selling very good price as compared to CEIT stores.

Best to get their authorised installer. Some 3rd party installation will void warranty. Can check with fan company

I installed 3x Bestar $198 each and paid $2 each to fan installation technician during June 2024. Reporting that so far they never dropped down from my ceiling. :ROFLMAO:

Only exchange one of the remote controller due to battery delpete fast.

Bestar don't buy lah please go buy other brands. Thanks.
