Given what you have mentioned, that's why the sharp phones definitely cannot buy at their RRP price because it's too gawdamn high.

Need to wait for it's price to tumble like R9 now at $370ish to reflect on it's true value then it's safe to buy.

I think they are just clearing old inventory of R9 phones. Probably discontinued with the R10's launch.

Yup. Based on my source, he tells me is last batch le. While stock last. So those aiming for R10, just hoot R9 now and sua la.

Still have it. I bought from litemobile. Lazy wait for delivery. Battery life is surprising. Lasted longer than my Nord CE5 with 7100mah. Dk why....

Not for now.... R10 pricing is very high now. I paid 30 to 40 percent of price for r9, for almost the same phone bro

Also, I don't like the gold. White is the way for me to go if anyone knows my favourite color for phone.

They replaced white with gold for r10..... funny decision, as I thought neutral colors will sell better?

In Japanese website reviewing mobile phones, the R9 has an issue- the film over the lens unpeels. Has anyone here noticed this issue?

Offhand, it's sad to see Sharp following other companies and removing features . R9 pro - no SD card slot, no 3.5mm jack. R10 has SD slot but no 3.5mm jack now. Soon, only Sony and some Chinese companies will offer proper features.

In the recent R10 review videos, Sharp actually said they had fixed the camera film peeling problem in latter batches of the R9. Never hear of anyone in Singapore raise this issue though. If you're wiping down your R9, probably don't scrub too hard over the camera lens area.

Sharps is owned by Foxconn...so they will just re-use parts they ODM/OEM for other PRC phone companies such as XM etc.

Doesn't make a difference for me. Bluetooth earphones are the way to go personally

The market has already moved on to BT headsets with usb C as the compromise for those who still want to use wired. Most audiophiles have already accepted it or otherwise will have a dedicated Hifi music device so really there is no need to have headphone jack for the 1% of the market who refuse to move on.

Was just 3 small nicks originally on both camera lens.
But I used the wrong type of wet wipes to wipe & made one of the small nicks become a big smear.
Best to use non-alcohol & non-citrus based wipes on them.

I got my R9 in early Jan, so it is an earlier batch.
