Price had leaked ahead before launch.
Spec as per below

8.8-inch 2.5K OLED screen, 2.99mm narrow bezels and a punch-hole cutout,
66W + 6400mAh battery,
32MP front camera, 50MP + 8MP rear camera,
Thickness 5.1/5.2/5.6mm, Weight 255g/260g/266g, Fiberglass/Natural Leather back cover,
SIM card support, calls and cellular data, two-way Beidou satellite messaging,

Hopefully the K Pad is priced a little lower so it's more value for money.

Yes, need more options to fight with iPad Mini.
I believe Android is more than capable to provide strong offerings.
iPad mini has pen support though.

But other than that, Android tablets just have undeniably better specifications.

Android ones have pen support too, though not as seamless or consolidated as iPad mini definitely.
And in SG, not as easily available.

I've tested a few Android tablets with pen support but pen accuracy is not good enough.

Hopefully the Huawei MatePad Mini will actually have good pen performance, and if so it's will blow the iPad mini away.

The ones I have works fine for me.
What are the ones you tested?

I hope it undercuts the new rumored ipad mini by 100 sgd. Best is come with cellular at that price.
Yeah, better come with Cellular connectivity at iPad Mini similar price points.

Damn annoying for me when tablets don't have WIFI, unless for my tablets that are only used at specific locations say for bigger tablets.
Otherwise, the smaller tablets should always have both Cellular & WIFI options to provide choices depending on individual's needs.
Always prefer having option to be portable than being inconvenienced to WIFI connectivity only.
