at least dun get sunburn without sunblock in SG only gets dark skin which some may not like
dark skin is also not good btw, either way uv hitting your bare skin can cause cancer, so have to be careful..

in sg you still can get away by staying indoors or under shelter. but if u go beach / hiking / play sports please use sunblock

yeah everywhere irritating :(
eat out still expensive & need car everywhere u go
sure there's a feeling of spacious but once reached certain age, convenience is more important

Similar to eating in restaurants in Sg, around $20 in non tourist trap area.

I like driving so driving is ok. Live within town is ok, with 5 to 10 mins drive, have basic medical and pharmacy facilities, grocery and facilities. Hospital is not available in every town though.

Personality, I like talking to the locals, many a times, they are more friendly than the Asian there. :ROFLMAO:

Australia is a super expensive place.
This is so not true.

Houses and cars are cheaper in Australia than in Singapore. There is no so call hawker food in Australia comparable to Singapore prices. But eating out in Australia is not always more expensive than in Singapore. Of cos prata, Yong Tau Foo, etc are more expensive in Australia than in Singapore.

Public transport, depending on which city/state. It's 50 cents in South East Queensland. Victoria will make public transport free for under 18s in 2026.

Public health is generally cheaper in Australia compared to Australia.

Free flu vaccines for Queenslanders.

Friends did IVF in Australia for less than A$2k.

Potato chips, snacks, also cheaper in Australia than in Singapore.
