Hey All, TP-Link actually just shared the below updated firmware. I asked for changelog but didnt get any.
My main issue is frequently dropping of connections across various devices especially when i turn on MLO.
Have updated without any issue ("touch wood") but have yet to test MLO.

Hope this is helpful.

Instructions -
Use your phone/tablet to connect to the router's WiFi, search tplinkwifi.net/192.168.0.1 in the browser's address bar Log in to the router's management interface and enter the device password. Then go to Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Update.)

After successfully downloading and updating, ensure the router's firmware version is: 0.21.0 3.0.0 v608b.0 Build 250821 Rel.52033n

I called TP-LINK and the supervisor said some users are beta users and the firmware are not officially launched. Just need to wait for it.
@zeroboi gave you a link to the firmware file and instructions to install, you could always just do that if you're impatient - otherwise wait for them to roll it out officially.

Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to have an official source link for the firmware?

The link i shared came directly from TP-Link.

After some testing, seems like connection is more stable.
But MLO is still slower than keeping the channels independent - which beats the point of having WIFI7.
Also, not seeing anything new on the AGINET app.

MLO is not necessarily faster than 6GHz band especially at close range, it will also depend on the mode of MLO your client and the router support. The other benefits of MLO is for stability and latency.

For example, my WiFi 7 laptop has the Intel BE200 chipset, which only supports eMLSR mode of MLO, which does not really improve the speed at close range, compared to 6GHz alone. Often MLO will be a bit slower at close range but may be faster at far range.

And in general, MLO implementation across the board (wireless router, client) are not that mature as of now.

There are other benefits of WiFi 7 as compared to WiFi 6/6E, other than MLO.

1) 320 MHz channel bandwidth. If you want to feel better with >2Gbps WiFi speed, this is the one to go.
2) 4096 QAM
3) Multi-RU
4) Preamble Puncturing -- this is very good for reliability. Unfortunately the implementation is not that good as of now.
5) MLO -- this is good for both reliability and speed. Unfortunately the implementation is not that good as of now.

Yes it is 1) 320 MHz channel bandwidth, that will give user much faster speed with the compatible wifi clients. It is just a matter of time and such wifi 7 client will be out in Singapore and slowly becoming common.

Not so sure if EB810v still suffers the following issue -- basically OpenVPN server does not work.

Cannot access LAN through OpenVPN connection
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/796908
(same as earlier reported issue -- https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/661992).

Answer from TP-Link Support Staff.
EB810v is a customized device specifically designed for local Service Providers. Its software is tailored to meet the unique requirements of these providers, ensuring alignment with their specific needs. While our technical support team is adept at providing general guidance and suggestions for products with standard, generic firmware. However, due to the specialized nature of the firmware on your device, our ability to provide troubleshooting may be limited.
