Squeeze in a run before bedtime last night. Slow run to clear the mind.

Key points

First 2 are most important
1. Hard training
2. Enough Calories.
3. Just hit 1.2g/kg and you are very good, absolutely no need to go above that.

i run 3 times a week. and i still hate running.

how does one love running sia.

Then do something another sports that you really like better. Can even be hyrox, rope skipping, racewalking, cycling, calisthenics or strength training.
It is the interest that really drives things.

But 3 times a week (if around 45 mins one time) is sufficient to maintain ok fitness and improve health

Exercise is the same like eating and sleeping.

You treat any exercise like running as a way of life to try and live another good day.

I've been running or cross trainings at least 3 times a week since before covid. Skipped days only when I'm sick.

If you do exercises regularly and be discipline, everything becomes a natural habit.

Can try sub-3hour marathon at GCM, highly possible with flat course and good weather
I’m aware, but for now still not yet decided if I want to join any upcoming races. I believe it will come eventually with the right training so not going to dwell about it too much.

Just have to keep on training.

for me its a love-hate thing... some runs are awful but some runs are really enjoyable, largely subject to how i feel when i run, which is related to my breathing and the weather
like right now, weather hot, abit not feeling well, just don't want to leave the house (haven't run for 15 days)😂

former burned more calories despite of shorter distance and slower pace than the latter
I think it is because yesterday's run is lower heart rate. I am trying zone 2 running for 6 months.

For me i cant. 2 meals of cai png per day or sometimes $4.00 chicken rice at night, 2 meat portions = $3.60 - 3.90.....the meat portions small AF as usual and sometimes the bak kut is mainly bones (but yummy). Need to be like 4 portions of meat per meal for the cai png, per meal.
3 eggs in the morning. If i eat the $4.00 bak chor mee at my hawker then lagi worse, literally like just 10g of protein in it nia.

Needs to be around total 250g of pork/chicken per day if wanna hit it, which is around 80g of protein per day for me. 3 eggs (ntuc pasar) = 15g of protein.

Problem : 4 portions of meat per cai png meal = over sodium (no added sauces, just the stuff that comes with the meat), even though i perspire a fair bit during my daily session (need around 1L of water per session at least, sometimes 1.5-1.6 2 bidons in order to totally rehydrate).
I tried before lunch and dinner 4 portions, my BP would go over 120/80 one in just over 2 weeks.

ah, you mostly eat out...

I mostly eat at home, and usually drink about 2 cups of unsweetened soy milk a day, and snack on almond or cashew

breakfast would be fruit and bread with peanut butter

Can substitute with tofu?
