In general, need to pay for Data Roam but not Auto Roam.
Yup did some reading and seems like it.

Seems like only difference is Autoroam has $10 monthly fee, Readyroam doesn't.

However, if you do use roaming facilities overseas, eg you pick up a call, readyroam has a +25% surcharge.

If you don't plan on making/receiving phone calls while overseas via carrier, and just plan on using data and data voice calls, readyroam + data roaming should be sufficient and cheapest overall.

Tried multiple browsers in the morning, Brave, Chrome, Edge. Even tried using my phone (iOS) but nothing worked.

Just tried again using my PC and it went through this time. Received an email from Singtel as well saying that they will send a service agreement when the order is processed. So seems like it was an issue on Singtel's servers.

Btw, i've always subscribed to Autoroam despite not using data when overseas (I buy e-sims when travelling), because i thought i needed autoroam to be able to receive calls when overseas. Have i been paying for nothing all this while?

After reading the threads it seems just having readyroam is sufficient?

Have you received confirmation email from SingTel for recontracting on the $15 sim only plan?

Hi bros, looking to port my SH line over to SingTel, is there any workaround to get on the $15 plan? Can I port in to a non contract sim only plans first and the sign up to the $15 plan? Or the only way I have is to go with the $24 plan for a year?

show proof pls
Show what proof, I am asking if I can port to a no contract sim only plan. Then sign up to the $15 plan. Must be my English bad, if so I apologise.

All done online, calling/enquiring will not help as CSO are not informed.
Get the SIM Only Lite (SOL) plan then convert the SOL to the SOP $15/mth plan.

Please enjoy while still able to.
I called Singtel. I feedback it’s not really fair they sent the link so late. They say they will transfer the HBO add on to my other sim only line after the trial ends and give me an additional month to enjoy. Like this also can ah

I am also considering porting in to Singtel and in the same scenario as ktinos. SIM only Lite has 12 months contract so conversion to the $15 plan can only be done closer to 12 months? Or should one sign up for SIM only Core which has no contract and convert shortly after? Are the $15 and $20 recontract plans only for seniors?

Yes, I just done so.

As you may be already aware, the $15.28 plan is only for "existing" Singtel customers, not for "new" (i.e. port-in or new number) Singtel customers.

If you want the $15.28 plan ASAP as someone who is not a existing Singtel customer right now, you should go for the cheapest NO-CONTRACT plan (note, NOT the 1-year contract plans like Enhanced Lite, or else you are stuck on 1-year contract for 1 year duration). You have to pay early termination fees to leave anytime earlier before 1 year, as you would not have paid to Singtel the full 12-month worth of monthly contract fees.

The cheapest no-contract plan for new signups right now would be the Enhanced Core plan at $40 (if you have CIS, the Enhanced Core would be $4 cheaper at $36).

Then, after minimum 1 month on the Enhanced Core plan, pay for your 1st month usage after 1st bill generated (i.e. $40), then use the $15.28 form found here and sign up for the $15.28 plan. You will be eligible this way for the $15.28 plan as an "existing" Singtel customer.

Tried and tested personally the above-mentioned process, only very recently the whole process from Aug to Oct this year. It works. Hope this helps.

The Lite plan is a 1-year contract plan.

You will have to stick on this Lite plan for 1 year before signing up for $15 plan. Else, Singtel will require you to pay up early termination fees equivalent to whatever remaining duration of the 1-year contract.

thanks guy for sharing i managed to sign up for the $15 link yesterday and just received sms and email for successful order!

Regarding the "FREE 50GB DataRoam Monthly to Malaysia for next 12 months", do I just turn on autoroam in Malaysia or need to activate through MySingtel app?
Turn on "Data Roaming (Network)" and "Network Lock" after clicking the Settings cog (top-right corner) within the "Roaming" tab of the Singtel app (the middle tab at the bottom).

You don't need to touch anything else in the app. You can turn off "Auto-subscribe to ReadyRoam" if you want, so that your account will not automatically sign-up for other roaming plans while still in Msia, assuming you use finish this 50GB free data bundle.

Of course, do remember to also enable data roaming switch/settings via your phone manufacturer settings on the handphone itself.

You should then automatically be connected once you are in Malaysia (from my experience, at the checkpoint), as part of this 50GB roaming benefit for the $15 plan. Hope this helps.

Actually the HBO Max doesn't get cut off automatically after the priority trial ended. From my personal experience.

Yes to the free Disney+ being auto-terminated alongside the priority trial plan (access is via Disney+ directly), but no to the free HBO Max (access is via Singtel CAST.SG) being auto-terminated.

What the CSO said to you is true, I noticed that the HBO Max somehow automatically became an add-on under my main line within Singtel app, even when my trial line has already been terminated.

Usage of the HBO Max was still running smoothly per normal for me 1 week after trial ended, even though I had previously obtained access solely via the already-terminated trial (halfway about 1 month, during the 2-month trial duration).

I only a few days ago self-terminated the HBO Max as I wanted a clean break from the trial plan, to simplify matters and fully focus on my main line. Also, I didn't want to sonehow incur random charges (which I don't think will happen anyway) for the continued use of HBO Max after trial ended.

Hope my own experience helps you.

Thanks bro, this was exactly that I asked the CSO but they could not give me a firm answer. Good to know it works for you. Will port over tonight!
