Having LAN issues, hope someone can help.

My EB810v the 10mpbs lan is connected to PC while the 2.5 is connected to Ps5, strangely the other 2 spare LAN when I connect to my laptop it doesn't haven't internet connection.

Any help? Greatly appreciated if anyone can help
Have you tried your PC/PS5 in those other ports to narrow down if its your laptop with the issue? (and use the same cable as what you use for the laptop, to also see if the cable may be causing problems).

Yes I took the same PS5 cable use on the other 2 port it doesn't work, very strange.

But the same cable goes back to the working 2.5port works on the laptop

Hey All, TP-Link actually just shared the below updated firmware. I asked for changelog but didnt get any.
My main issue is frequently dropping of connections across various devices especially when i turn on MLO.
Have updated without any issue ("touch wood") but have yet to test MLO.

Hope this is helpful.

Instructions -
Use your phone/tablet to connect to the router's WiFi, search tplinkwifi.net/192.168.0.1 in the browser's address bar Log in to the router's management interface and enter the device password. Then go to Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Update.)

After successfully downloading and updating, ensure the router's firmware version is: 0.21.0 3.0.0 v608b.0 Build 250821 Rel.52033n
Hi , anyone knows if this firmware resolves the issue with the 5ghz channel being stuck at 44?

I currently have the eb810v meshed with archer c64 but. However recently I got my hands on a archer be230 and was planning to swap to this instead of the c64. However when attempting to add the be230 to easymesh, it will join the network but receive no signal from the main router after. As if it was very far away from the main router.

I have separately tested and the router works fine. It can be used as a normal router and works on easymesh ethernet backhaul. Im just not sure why it refuses to get signal from the main router when on wireless backhaul. Anyone has any idea on this?

Too far away?

When using wireless backhaul, the mesh node needs to have good signal from the main node, usualy that means line of sight or one partition wall in between.

This appears to be the official release of the firmware that was in Beta earlier this month. Any release notes?

Would be nice if the new firmware allows Link Aggregation and allows MLO to work properly.

Also does anyone know if this new firmware is for EB810V V1.0 or v2.0?

here's what it reads on my firmware page

Firmware Version: 0.14.0 3.0.0 v608b.0 Build 240709 Rel.56868n
Hardware Version: EB810v v2.0 00000000

Both my routers were acquired first half of 2025.

Did you check your router's firmware page info??

I see. Good to know that.

I do not have EB810v now. I only have HB710 and use it as my main router for my Starhub 5Gbps plan.

But I kind of want to get either HB810 or EB810v to play in the future if the price drops to below S$200 or if one of them gets OpenWRT supports (official version or unofficial version).

Probably same as V1 just with 1GB RAM instead of 2GB RAM in V1. And maybe some other minor changes. :ROFLMAO:

TP-Link Global and TP-Link China are both very good at cutting corners in newer HW revisions. Usually V1 is the best in terms of HW spec and build quality.
