it's strange that I received $0.01 "bonus interest" for Sep25 when the account was empty the whole month...

If I open a new equity online trading account via SC website is it instant account opening or I need to wait for approval before I can start buying SG shares?

Need to wait about 1 week then can buy after opening the account.
Oh that is quite long. I just submitted my account application for online equity and unit trust.

I need to buy some SG shares or unit trust by next Friday to satisfy the esaver wealth holding requirements. Do you think I can still make it?

make up your mind what you want to invest - unit trust or shares?

If you are existing customer, opening unit trust investment account is instant, pass your cka, then you can invest. Follow the instructions, step by step, at the website/online banking/in the app.

Someone cannot "managed", went to the branch for help to open unit trust investment account and buy UT.

For unit trust, u can complete the CKA assessment and buy immediately.
Their CIO funds currently zero sales charge.

I opened the unit trust account and it did not ask me to complete the CKA form. When I click on the Unit Trust I can see my Investment account number. How can I check if I need to complete the CKA form?

SC did not ask to complete the CKA when I opened the unit trust account on Friday. How can I check if I need to complete the CKA form?

Just click to buy the UT you want, it should trigger the process, cos the UT risk level must match or below your risk level in you cka results. if the ut risk level is higher, you redo your cka until it allow you to buy, if you insist in buying the higher risk ut.

I want to buy a unit trust to satisfy the wealth holding criteria. Some recommended the below unit trust:

SC Invest Cash plus
SC Invest Income

However I'm not able to find them in the SC Invest website. Is there a fund code to search for?

Under the SIGNATURE CIO Conservative it suggested the SIGNATURE CIO CONSERVATIVE FUND AS SGD-H ACC which I think is different from the above 2 unit trusts.

Ok so the SIGNATURE CIO CONSERVATIVE FUND AS SGD-H ACC is the Cash + fund.
This is a bit confusing and HSBC has far better experience for buying unit trust.
