are there any thing and light cases that blends together with the camera island and not stick out?

just want to protect from scuffs, not too worried about drop protection.

When you say blend with the camera plateau and not stick out, you mean you want the whole back to be flat?
To do that the case needs to increase thickness at areas outside of the camera plateau, and that in turn won't be thin.

no, what i meant was something that hugs the camera island rather than building a lip around it.

If you mean cover the whole camera plateau with cutouts for the lens and flashlight, I think Spigen Liquid Air fits your bill for being light and thin at the same time.
Otherwise clear cases from quality sellers from Taobao like Ugreen/Baseus/Smartdevil should be fine too

I bought the Ugreen Corning AR too.
It has better clarity, better oleophobic coating and smoother than Spigen EZ Fit Pro
My Spigen got a few micro scratches in just 1 week of usage

Me too. Waited till the excitement all gone. Too slow, not sure what's their business strategy, everytime they take so long to start shipping their products. Not cheap somemore.

I believe the official apple stores on e commerce platforms like Shopee/Lazada is actually the authorised distributors such as Switch/iStudio. You need to see which one it is affiliated with and go to them for warranty etc.
Apple store will not entertain

Get the Ultra Hybrid T with a proper camera control button rather than this one with a thin TPU skin

The skin and control button IMO are the same. I have both, the skin on the thin fit and the control button on the hybrid T. Currently i am using the thin fit with the plastic camera button. No issue using it to control.
