Personally I hope we lose to Villa just to push Slot closer to the door. I don't want someone who is disrespecting the club and fans to be managing LFC.

Even if we are playing Grimsby, I am expecting the same 11. But any respectable manager will put the likes of Gakpo, Salah and Szobo on the bench just in case things go pear-shape and try to rescue the match. But this is Palace we are playing, a team that we have difficulty beating even with our best 11. That bench tonight is definitely not for a rescue mission. So either Slot is so disillusioned to think that the starting 11 can give us a healthy 3 goal lead so that he can give the youngsters on the bench a runout or he completely give up the competition even before the ball is kicked.

I only hear that he said the starting 11 is what he will normally put out for Carabao Cup, which I agreed. But normal managers will also include some 1st team players on the bench in case things didn't go their way. This is the norm.

But the bench that day only consists of even younger or inexperienced players. So it's already a sign that he tis ready to hrow away the game before a ball is kicked. That's unacceptable for LFC when our standard is always to win matches and trophies. We don't throw away matches unless really all 1st team players are out injured.

i saw that interview and i immediately rolled my eyes when he mentioned about CIty and Chelsea played Youth and B team, he is really pathetic and whats with the comparison? he should take a damn good look at his tactics and formation! he is on the edge at the moment
