New to MII. Any know what are the estimated monthly payout say if put 10k?
And what strategy you adopted. I saw the price range 9.4x to 9.6x. So buy around 9.5x or 9.4x and sell at 9.6x? Any experts care to enlighten?

not an expert but Mii not really for buy low sell high. it is more for getting payout every mth end. my strategy is to invest all my savings (with payout reinvest) to get the 4% net yield.

with $10k, u can get abt $53 per mth or 6.3% pa.

did u take into account u lose some principal amount that was initially invested, instead of just taking the payout and using it for simple calculation of yield?

til now, I still losing money that is invested on mii if pay out not included. if pay out included, barely make it

yes, i keep record of my principal $19k to compare it against the current market value.
@Jorgensen asked abt payout and strategy, so i replied only based on his enquires. i did not state that the 6.3% is the yield. the 4% net yield isnt my calculation. it's shown on mari app/webpage. u should maintain your own record.

i believe everyone will have net earning from mii over time, although the focus should be on payout instead of unit price and yield. choose the product that suits your investment objectives.
know what u r actually buying: mii → pimco gis income fund → ?
the more u know, the less the risk and u wont need to rely on luck.

Usually NAV dips near month end (likely for monthly payouts since a portion is from the capital).

Yes $84 loss. Unlucky.. I am just trying my luck. I thought the unit price is high so thought was ok. In Sept, i am able to get $67 more.

yeah unfortunately i missed the payout. And i dun know there is cut off date. My plan is to buy on 28 Oct. So by 30 Oct can be confirmed and on time for 31 Oct payout. I will take note for Nov.
