So many places need MRT like Fernvale, whampoa but government taking their own sweet time. Keep building HDB without transport.

He wants the line to be very close to jalan kayu is it?
still got chance. Fernvale still got empty plot of land with no planned usage. 50-50 cause if compare to punggol’s cross island line, the plot of land is small

Somehow moi feel the whole allocation of buses and trains at NE is weird. During when it was a flat ground, the mrt lines were already mapped out so in fact surrounding areas should have flats and condo but Buangkok mrt already has mrt but still has a bus interchange. Same for Punggol and Compassvale. Shouldn’t the bus interchange be allocated at places with no mrt station eg Fernvale. Then in future if there is a high demand, then convert the bus interchange into an mrt station.

There was supposed to be a bus interchange at Fernvale, but they sold the land to build Seletar Mall. Profits over people.

Bus interchange are normally beside MRT station. Can't have MRT station within few minutes walk from every block of flats. Commuters have to transfer from MRT to bus and vice versa.
AMK, Woodlands are ones that I'm familiar with . But probably most/ all bus interchanges in HDB estate is beside/ near an MRT
Tampines, Pasir Ris, Clementi, Jurong East etc
