Still cannot figure out why my SIngtel WIFI Calling isn't working...![]()
M1 maxx support WiFi CallingThanks for the info. I find out it is the same for M1 and Starhub. That should cover Maxx and Eight as well. So looks like only SIMBA will have working VoWiFi overseas.
1. Singtel FAQ on WiFi Calling.

Where can I use this service?
You can use this service over any local WiFi connection. Use of this service at a WiFi hotspot overseas is currently not supported.
2. M1 WiFi Calling FAQ

Is there a specific Wi-Fi network that I must connect to use the service?
You can connect to any local Wi-Fi network to use this service.
3. Starhub WiFi Calling FAQ

When I be able to make calls on VoWIFI when I am Roaming Overseas?
No, calls made while roaming will be made through VoLTE or 3G.
iPhone.what phone r u using?
On my iPhone which it used to work and haven't been working for a while. For local connection? It is working for me with my Poco X7 Pro and Singtel SIM Only plan.
You may want to set to prefer WiFi network than mobile network. If not difficult to fall back to WiFi Calling.

Does VoLTE works when VoWifi doesn't ? What I have read is both requires IMS profile for the telco to be included in the phone firmware, otherwise that won't work. So it seems like the Nothing Phone 2 is lacking starhub IMS profile, or at least incomplete.it may be the phone eg:
nothing phone 2 with different SIM cards:
- Gomo: works
- eight: does not work
- Simba: works
same SIM cards in 1+12, then 1+13, and 1+13R:
- Gomo: dunno, already ported out.
- eight: works
- Simba: works.
VoLTE works for all SIM on both phones.
Set to "Prefer VoWiFi"
just my limited experience
edit1: to try and force VoWiFI, turned on aeroplane mode, then turned on wifi (data off). No change.
edit2: all phones were NOT telco phones
edit3: by " it may be the phone" i mean, whether the telco supports it for VoWiFi
iPhone.
Yes, I might be calling SIngtel for clarification.strange. all my friends using iphone on singtel network report no problems.
maybe time to call singtel customer service
Yes, I might be calling SIngtel for clarification.
Separately, not sure if anyone have tested/noticed any settings on router that might be blocking/causing the VoWIFI to not be up.
VoWifi requires port UDP 500/4500 to the provider's respective mobile gateway.Yes, I might be calling SIngtel for clarification.

Sorry, don't quite get you.VoWifi requires port UDP 500/4500 to the provider's respective mobile gateway.
MVNO shares the MNO's gateway.
Check for IKE/IPSec, pass through settings etc.
Yes. But normally if other provider's VoWifi works, then the chance of a router setting is very low, as the only difference is the destination FQDN/IP address. Only on proper firewall do you see that level of granularity.Sorry, don't quite get you.
I should be checking for IKE/IPSec, pass through setting in my router?

Unlikely to be the router, unless there is something really strange.i didn't change any settings on my router.
on eight:
- VoWifi didn't work on my np2
- it worked for Singtel/Gomo and Simba.
does that imply that my router settings are ok, and that it's eight back end that does not support np2?
Anyways, seems like all Singtel SIMs whether Android or IOS for me does not reflect VoWIFI now...On my iPhone which it used to work and haven't been working for a while.
Device end have already toggled the necessary etc., but not sure if router has any settings that might be blocking this.
Now that I recall, I shall check my Singtel on the Androids that I have whether it's reflecting VoWIFI.

It used to work IIRC for my POCOs too but didn't observe/track when it "stopped" working.i can't comment on ios, but for Android, my observation is they support the main models from the main brands.
niche models, or niche brands, may or may not get telco support. if get, it's your lucky day, go and buy 4D.![]()

POCO is technically XM so not that niche compared to the likes of say Redmagic kind of brands at least I believe.
Yes, which means what I recalled is correct then.Just tested using VoWiFi and there is no issues for my Singtel SIM Only pan and Poco X7 Pro.
Tested with calling my Eight Mobile number.
