Sidetrack a bit but someone on Reddit found that IBKR could be cheaper than MII for long-term holding of PIMCO GIS Income Fund:

for fund class: institutional 0.55% (ibkr/endowus) is better than admin 1.05% (Mari)
for platform fee: Mari $0 is better than ibkr $8/trade / endowus 0.3%

so ibkr definitely much cheaper for lump sum purchase over long-term. I don't have ibkr to test.
