Hi All, i am havbing trouble accessing Windows update, Windows Store and Epic Games Update , understand the CGNAT thing , but is there any workaround that i can do to resolve this ?
I have rebooted my ont and router, it's the same , i have been using Simba 10gbps for a year now , only recently happened. I am using Asus TUF 6500 router bought from taobao. got 2 pc , both facing same issue. Thank you Xiaofan. This should have nothing to do with CGNAT.
And SIMBA seems to be okay.

Reboot your ONT/Router to see if that helps.
What is your router used?

No issue with Windows update and Windows Store. Then no ideas here. Let's see if other SIMBA users have the same problem or not.
You can also ask SIMBA for support.

Sounds like a device issue to me. Any recent changes?Hi All, i am havbing trouble accessing Windows update, Windows Store and Epic Games Update , understand the CGNAT thing , but is there any workaround that i can do to resolve this ?
Hi Xiaofan , i factory reset my router, now everything works , thank you so much for your suggestion ! Appreciate much !!Since other users have no issues, I will suggest you factory reset the Asus router and set it up again from scratch to see if that sorted out the issue or not.
If still not working, change the DNS server to Google/Cloudflare DNS to see if that helps or not (just a guess here).
BTW, call me biased but in general I do not recommend SIMBA Fibre Internet, I think it is the worst ISP here in Singapore. I tend to recommend M1 and StarHub for new users.
1) not good support -- not suitable for average users who may need ISP support
2) CGNAT without Static IPv4 add-on
3) routing issues to some locations
SIMBA has done well in the mobile phone service market, but apparently not for the Fibre Internet side, where it has negligible market share.
Hopefully with the upcoming merger with M1, SIMBA Fibre Internet users will get the following.
1) Better support, M1 Fibre Internet service seems to have better customer support than SingTel and StarHub.
2) Dynamic public IPv4
3) Better routing performance.
Heng I didn't take on simba fibre but took the 24.90 M1. I not v tech savvy type.BTW, call me biased but in general I do not recommend SIMBA Fibre Internet, I think it is the worst ISP here in Singapore. I tend to recommend M1 and StarHub for new users.

I experience similar issue for mobile/TV multiple devices connection, need to manually disconnect & reconnect wifi whenever you do a fresh usage.Hi,
I am seeking your kind help and advice. I just changed from M1 (1Gbps) to Simba (10Gbps), and set up the Dlink mesh using 2 units of D-Link BE7200. However, my internet wifi seems worse than before when i was on 1 Gbps with ASUS mesh using 2 units of ASUS RT-AX3000P (Dlink routers and ASUS routers were placed in the exact same locations).
I only used WIFI and not wired connections. My internet keeps disconnecting itself. For example, when i am working on my Lenovo laptop, the wifi network can show connected but says no internet. I need to restart laptop (at times), or explicitly disconnect the wifi and reconnect again. During this "no internet" period, i can at times still connect to the internet via wifi (my mobile data is off) on my phone, so i am not sure where the problem lies - whether it was due to the router, simba, or simply some incompatibility between my laptop and router etc.. This can happen throughout the day (at times, 4-5 times per hour) and night (less frequent but still happens) which is very frustrating when i work from home.
I also encounter similar issues (but less frequent) when I am accessing internet on my mobile (mobile data was turned off) though. The internet connection will just drop, and reconnect after a while (5-10 min later).
Should i change my WIFI7 routers to other brands (e.g. ASUS? my connection speed was slow previously, but stability was ok), or change back to my previous WIFI6 routers (I still have them though)? I mainly use internet for WFH (teams call), internet surfing, netflix etc..
Is it some settings that i should be changing for DLink? I am not familiar with network settings and would
appreciate if anyone can offer me some guidance on this.
Thank you in advance!

what do you think of using cloudflare's warp+ to enhance upstream connections? would it be better than local telco's consumer offerings?
the paid version is supposed to offer optimized routing. since simba has good connections to the local cloudflare data centre, as long as we're using warp+, we might get better connectivity than all telcos
wondering if paid warp+ will having better upstream routing than local telco's consumer offerings. What is the point then?
Using a cheaper ISP but then pay for Warp+ VPN?
Take note free version of WARP+ will reduce the speed below 1Gbps.
Warp+ (paid) should generally provide more consistent routing over their CF network compared to our local ISP that does cheaper hot potato routing.wondering if paid warp+ will having better upstream routing than local telco's consumer offerings.
