the recent connection issue, not sure why singtel is asking users to reboot their devices. A simple airplane mode toggle on off should suffice? or reboot to get new 5g signal?

Isn't it normal to reboot your device or toggle on/off airplane mode whenever there is a connection issue ? No ?

Not sure why you are 'not sure'

Many choices, just do not choose Singtel Gomo or SingTel MVNOs as they are using the same network.

Example: M1 Maxx, Eight (StarHub), SIMBA.

I have my SingTel S$15.28 plan as the main line. And I just subscribed to Eight S$8 4G Plan and M1 Maxx S$10 plan recently to try out.

If I am just considering local usage, I will choose M1 Maxx S$10 plan as the backup. But Eight and SIMBA have free voice roaming, so I will most likely go with Eight S$8 4G Plan, unless it fails my roaming test during my short trip to China in December. SIMBA S$12 plan is the next choice as it offers much more data bundle for China than Eight S$8/S$11.8/S$14.8 plans and SIMBA S$10 plan.

Singtel SIM Only already got 5G SA long ago, nothing to do with that.

Reboot is probably easier way and more reliable than airplane mode toggle or even enable/disable SIM Card.

Wow singtel just change its sim only plans to unlimited data for enhanced core and priority plus plans .lol. looks abit tempting to sign up for the enhanced core but not the Priority plus plan.

Competition is good.

Looks like this is to counter Starhub's new 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum plans.

Singtel SIM Only: unlimited local data.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/mobile/plans/sim-only
Singtel 5G+ Enhanced Core plan at S$40 per month
Singtel 5G+ Priority Plus plan at S$55 per month, unlimited Malaysia Roaming
Singtel 5G+ Priority Ultra plan at S$80 per month, unlimited Malaysia Roaming, free aditional share line.

Starhub SIM Only, unlimited local data, unlimited local calls and SMS, Unlimited IDD calls, free voice roaming, DeviceDollars
https://consumer.starhub.com/personal/store/mobile-plans
Starhub 5G Unlimited+ Core at S$38 per month, S$5 DeviceDollars per month
Starhub 5G Unlimited+ Plus at S$48 per month, S$10 DeviceDollars per month
Starhub 5G Unlimited+ Max at S$78 per month, S$20 DeviceDollars per month
Starhub 5G Platinum at S$128 per month, S$50 DeviceDollars per month
Starhub 5G Platinum Elite plan at S$188 per month, unlimited global data, S$80 DeviceDollars per month

Singtel's plan still abit more expensive than starhub but nevertheless its good for consumers if there is competition. Lol. But if u use cis / senior discount to sign up for singtel sim only plans , the 20% discount is not bad .

Thanks to competition. Seems like unlimited will soon be the new norm

The unlimited plan (or rather 1TB) has some nice benefits I appreciate.
Free callerID finally!

Free mobileshare

For the more expensive plans,
Unlimited Malaysia roaming (actually 1TB)
18GB roaming that can share with mobileshare.

actually it finally makes a little more financial sense.

Not bad but quite expensive, but seriously Singtel need to remove the 12months contract on its enhanced lite SIM Only plan, goes all out with no contract.

Very good point.

It is strange that there are two Enhanced Lite plans with 12 month contract yet the page is supposed to talk about "Best no contract upgraded 5G+ SIM Only plans". And the focus is "Get more with our no contract SIM Only plans".

We’re all in this together…….

though mine was in oct…… the faq said no. We have to wait till our next recontract, unless you are on a no contract plan.

Probably only on the higher priced plan, S$30++ plans.

Cannot even finish 100 GB even after carrying out quite some speed tests, if not 50 GB more than enough already.

S$15.28 SingTel SIM Only plan is good enough for me.
same lol,

i purposely watch youtube / netflix without using wifi at home also cannot manage to hit 300gb per month

i even purposely tether with my mbp to download files also cannot hit the limit.

so i dun think i need unlimited data
