Proxmox VE itself is not really for daily driver but rather the platform to run VMs and containers. It has a nice Web UI. Usually you run it headless (without monitor, keyboard and mouse, other than initial setup).

For PVE setup with N100 CPU based mini PCs, I will not want to run Virtualized Windows, but no issues to run Virtualized Linux VMs if you have enough RAM (say 16GB).

For faster CPUs and with 32 GB RAM, like your Ryzen 7 7840HS Mini PC, indeed you can run Virtualized Windows and Linux VMs and use the VMs as daily driver. The client can be a slower laptop since the VMs run on the faster machine.
Thought of running a router with N100 but wife will scold if I buy another box :ROFLMAO:

No share link, I just post direct hyperlink can? 15% off still have leh.

https://amzn.asia/d/5kBxOyl

You can either use HWZ $20 off, Citi $12 off or $15 Unionpay to offset the price.
Hi, mind sharing how did you get HWZ $20 off? I think I googled and the code didn't seem to be applicable.

Also did you install a 2nd SSD into the 2nd NVME slot? Any recommendations on which ones to go with. I'm considering getting this as a 2nd mini PC (really love my current beelink Ser6 Pro) but this price is too good to resist and I could use my old one as a media/torrent/work machine and use this for my emu/light gaming needs.

Also what do you normally use it for?

I grabbed the voucher on the second day.

1TB SSD not here yet.

I use it for office work to replace my 10 year old Intel I7.

Other than all the USB slots are flipped, the box runs fast even if I disable turbo and fix it at quiet mode.

Don't game.

I see. what SSD did you go with? Looking to grab maybe a 2-4TB SSD to slot into the 2nd slot to install my stuff.

most budget mini pc may struggle with 1080p gaming

what is your budget?

maybe can also google online to see actual gameplay, e.g. use search term, [name of game] & mini pc, example below

you can't. need pcie slot.
based on this image from a review:
csm__MG_0065_5d65c49410.jpg

any supported m.2 e key wifi card should work, something like @MaoZeDuo's 2nd link (bare mt7925, dunno why the text is for tplink pcie card): https://www.amazon.sg/dp/B0F4D8TCFP. many times those pcie cards are usually just adapters, so it may be possible to extract the bare wifi card and install it in this slot.
