Hi gurus! Finally heading to Genting this weekend and feeling excited, just wanted to ask
1) is Antara Mall worth visiting?
2) will the theme park be more packed around this period?
3) any nice but not-too-expensive meals near Resort Hotel (in case I kenna eat too much in casino )?
4)And should I bring more cash or just rely on digital wallet?
5) is the new old casino nearer resort hotel?
6) no smoking in casino?

For theme park, you can download the Skyworld app. It will show waiting time for each ride. So you can decide to go to those with shorter Q or wait.

I think you can see this even without buying tix. Each Tix comes with 3 VQ which allows you can pre-book the time using the app.

Nearer park closing time the Q usually is not so long even for the popular ones.

No matter what, the Q won't be as insane as our Universal Studio of 2 hrs.

Bring raincoat. One of the ride Epic will get wet. Also in case it drizzle.

I am actually happy when there is light drizzle. The Q gets shorter. You can ride in raincoat. And the best part is the fog starts to come. They only close the rides if rain is heavy.

Without rain, theme park might be hot. Need sunblock.

Check the Tix price online. Cheaper than buying on the spot. But booking online must be made at least 1 day earlier.

If buy annual pass, once you enter need to go to guest service (turn left immediately after enter) to register the annual pass into your app. They will scan your annual pass QR and register with fingerprint.

Thereafter, each time you enter the park on subsequent days, just scan the QR and do fingerprint. Each day will have 3 VQ Tix.

Where did you board the 707 bus? The bus didn't stop at KL yesterday as the passengers in my bus are all dropping off at Genting. Already at Genting for the concert this evening.

How is the room quality for resort hotel standard room compared to FWH? Also the check in queue for Resort Hotel is it also many people like FWH?

room quality definetly resort will be better. Check-in will be faster as well. FWH can use machine check in, unless ur card got problem . but the cons of staying resort is u have to walk back to skyworld there to eat .. there got more options.

Kovan hub. They drop pax at TBS. Today quite late. Reach terminal around 3.30pm. Left Yong Peng at 11am. Departed Kovan at 7am.
the only good thing is can get room immediately. Not much queue at the kiosk.
please don’t take level 28 of tower 2. Damn dim and old and dirty layout.

That's pretty late timing. Friday when I left Kovan at 7am, reached Yong Peng at 9.30am and depart around 10.15am. Reached the resort around 2.40pm.

For tower 2, I always choose between 17 to 20 floor if possible.

At the check in kiosk have option for floor selection. Then you can't select other option.

I lost my genting card but am going genting next week. Made reservations at FWH through the app. How do I replace the genting card at genting? Any experts can advice pls!

Highly chance window-to-windows view if kiosk check-in.
Mountain View is by luck if you use kiosk, usually unselectable payable mountain view, otherwise join the manual queue for the payable guaranteed request (long wait).

Superior Deluxe and World Club Room guaranteed either theme park view or mountain view lucky dip by kiosk.

Y5 all in Tower 3.
