Checked three listed Singtel authorized retailers at Jurong Point, none of them have the S$15 SIM SingTel hi! 5G+ Plan physical SIM card available.

Only Repair Station got the poster but the guy told me it was upcoming, not yet available.

It seems to me that Singtel is consolidating the existing Prepaid SIM Card and the new Post Paid hi! 4G plans under single product website. They are both managed by the Singtel Prepaid team anyway.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi

1) The top level Singtel Prepaid link from Singtel.com has been redirected to the above page.

The link points to the following URL but it now redirects to the above Singtel hi! webpage.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/mobile/plans/prepaid-new

2) Now the above Singtel hi! website also includes Tourist SIM Card (Prepaid in terms of IMDA classification)

3) The S$8 Prepaid SIM Card seems to be out of stock.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/prepaid-plans/hi-sim-cards

lIofFAI.png

4) Reference Screenshots from Singtel hi! Website.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi

You can see that they say the S$15 hi! 5G Plan is the "recommended" hi! plan to go,

ESLi9kb.png

Tourist SIM/eSIM is also mentioned in this page.

gQwcKQt.png

5) The question is whether they will consolidate the old Singtel hi! Prepaid app (Android app name: com.singtel.hiaccount) to the new Singtel Hi! app (Android app name: com.singtel.hi).

Not yet at least for the existing SIngtel Prepaid Card users. I tried the new Singtel hi! app and it does not work with my existing Singtel Prepaid card.

Existing Singtel hi! Prepaid app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.singtel.hiaccount

New Singtel Hi! app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.singtel.hi

6) More problematic is that there are other Singtel Prepaid pages which are still alive.

Example:
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/prepaid-plans
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/prepaid-plans/hi-sim-cards

The main problem is that the S$15 SIM has different terms and conditions than the Postpaid hi! 4G plans.

The FAQ mentioned in the bottom of the Singtel hi! website is only applicable to the Postpaid hi! 4G plans.

I do not think this applies to the booking from the Pelago platform.

I will ask Singtel Jurong Point Shop today or tomorrow.

As per SingTel Shop Jurong Point Prepaid Counter, they do not sell the S$15 Prepaid SIM. They do not serve as a collection point either.

The nearest location from Boon Lay is Bugis Cube as per the guy.

so what do they sell?

i read review somewhere that someone collected from bugis.

I just checked with SingTel Shop Jurong Point.

They do not sell any of the following plans mentioned in the Singtel hi! Website.

They do not have the S$15 hi! 5G+ SIM Card (5G, prepaid plan in terms of IMDA Classification) to sell.

As for the other three monthly Singtel hi! plans (4G, Postpaid plan in terms of IMDA Classification), they expect people to sign up online with eSIM as of now.

ESLi9kb.png

Then I asked what they sell at the Prepaid Counter. They told me they sell the following S$15 5G+ Prepaid SIM Card with 150GB data. It is using the existing SingTel Prepaid hi! app.
QOLHxMj.png

Interesting the two young staff (maybe interns) did not know about the new Singtel Hi! app, they only know the old Singtel hi! Prepaid app. I showed them the new SingTel hi! app and I told them that I am pretty sure that the three 4G monthly plans will use the new Singtel Hi! app but I am not so sure about the first new S$15 hi! 5G+ plan. They are not sure either.

Even though Singtel says the following, the dealers are not ready in reality.

Out of the three authorized dealers located in Jurong Point, only Repair Station has the poster for the new Singtel hi! Plans. But then they also do not have stock as of now.

When the new $15 was first launched, the "Buy now" link was pointing to Pelago and Pelago's $15 card was still showing the old entitlements. It took a while for Pelago to update their $15 cards with new entitlements.

My gut feel is telling me that all $15 cards are the same, old or new, and similar to Malaysian prepaids, what plan you will get and what perks and entitlements that come with it, is dependent on the time of activation. In fact, immediately after activation, Singtel states that you will receive the standard (minimal) data and minutes, and all the bonuses will be credited within 3 days.

Then I asked what they sell at the Prepaid Counter. They told me they sell the following S$15 5G+ Prepaid SIM Card with 150GB data. It is using the existing SingTel Prepaid hi! app.

Lol, even Singtel staffs are clueless. This is the offering for subsequent plan purchase. I remember that the original one-time perks that came with the "old" $15 card had 30gb roaming data after activation. Can't recall the rests, because I'm into data roaming only.

Anyway, can't blame them because prepaid is a low-revenue business and they are not focused on prepaids.

Indeed.

1. I am pretty sure that the new "S$12 and S$10 hi! Monthly Plan" as well as the "S$5 Senior Monthly Plan" will use the new "SingTel Hi! App". Same for heya users who will be converted to the new Singtel hi! plan. All these plans are PostPaid plans as per IMDA Classifications.

2. I tend to believe that the so-called new "S$15 Singtel hi! 5G+ Plan" will use the existing "Singtel Prepaid hi!App", as it is still a Prepaid service as per IMDA Classification, same as those Tourist SIM Cards (physical card or eSIM).

Xco9poc.jpeg

But there is also a possibility that Singtel wants to retire the old Singtel hi! Prepaid App and consolidate to single SingTel Hi! App.

Let's wait for the confirmation from the users.

3. Another thing, Singtel seems to promote eSIM for the Singtel hi! Postpaid plans in order to reduce cost, as they are managed by Singtel Prepaid side of the business (less recources and less importance than the Postpaid side of the business). On the other hand, they will still use authorized dealers to offer physical SIM Card.

For the S$12 and S$10 per month SingTel hi! 4G monthly plan, I actually do not quite understand the value proposition. Same for the Heya S$10 and S$13 4G plans which will be migrated to SingTel hi! Monthly with basically no change of subscription price and benefits.

Not so sure if Heya users will get better support from SingTel Prepaid Team who manage both the new SingTel hi! Plans and SingTel hi! Prepaid plans.

Talking about the price for SIM Only plans under SingTel 4G network, SingTel MVNOs may still offer more benefits than SingTel hi! 4G Monthly plans at the same S$12/S$10 price level. They may offer <S$8 per month 4G plans as well.

In terms of network priority, I believe Singtel hi! 4G plans will probably be the same as SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans.

Hey there, come and check out Singtel 5G SGD15 hi Prepaid SIM Card (500GB Data for 28Days) (SIM Card to be registered within 7Days) at2% off! $14.69 only. You can find out more at https://sg.shp.ee/Kzb4xc9.

So I just got one S$15 SIM Card from the above SingTel Prepaid Shopee shop.

1) I can confirm this is a Prepaid service.

2) It can not be used with the new SingTel Hi! App. It can only work with the existing SingTel hi! Prepaid App.

3) After initial activation, only 100GB data were given. Supposely the extra benefits will come in three working days. Let's see.

4) As of now, it cannot connect to SingTel 5G, only 4G LTE-A now.

5) 4G speed is not bad though.

Tested using Poco X7 Phone

All in all, I think it is very confusing that SingTel includes the S$15 Prepaid 5G SIM (also Tourist SIM) and the three Postpaid 4G hi! plans (S$12, S$10 and S$5 Senor) I the same SingTel hi! Website, especially since they are using two different apps.

For the S$12/S$10 hi! monthly 4G plans and S$5 hi! Senior 4G plan, right now only eSIM is available from the online links provided by SingTel hi! Website.

Supposely the authorized dealers will also start to offer physical SIM cards. But then I have checked with the three dealers at Jurong Point, none of them have things in stock.

You may check with SingTel Prepaid hotline at 1800-482-2800, which operates daily from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, to see if any shops offer them now.
