can call, but stand by for exorbitant bills. Just avoid if possible. If you got a second line, get simba or eight, can use IDD calls.By the way go overseas cannot call right ?

If I understand it correctly, iPhone live voicemail is different from regular telco voicemail. This may still incur high charges if the following Singtel FAQ is still applicable.

Are there any charges for VoiceMail?
Airtime charges apply when:
• You are accessing your VoiceMail mailbox and retrieving your voice messages.
• Your caller starts hearing the VoiceMail announcement until he/she finishes depositing a voice message. (Note: the caller is also charged airtime).
• You utilise the Call Return feature and is connected to your recipient or is diverted to your recipient's VoiceMail mailbox.
Roaming charges apply when:
• You access and retrieve your voice messages from overseas.
• Your callers leave you a voice message when you are overseas.
Call Forward:
• You will be charged standard outgoing airtime charges for a missed call diverted to your VoiceMail.
You are right, @twosix told me this previously it is a iPhone new featureIf I understand it correctly, iPhone live voicemail is different from regular telco voicemail.
For call forwarding, that is the reason why one should divert all calls (unconditional, before forwarding the call to roaming partner) instead of divert missed call (conditional, after forwarding the call to roaming partner).
There is a major difference between the 2.
im referring to the live voicemail feature on iPhones.. not telco.. and ST MVNO dont have voicemail service in the first place. This may still incur high charges if the following Singtel FAQ is still applicable.

Will incur call time as well. Turn this off when roaming unless using simba line. You are right, @twosix told me this previously it is a iPhone new feature
The main new iPhone voicemail feature is Live Voicemail, which transcribes voicemails in real-time as the caller speaks, allowing you to see what they're saying as they leave the message. You can choose to answer the call while it's in progress, and the feature can be turned on or off in the iPhone's settings under Settings > Phone > Live Voicemail. This works with iOS 17 and later, and can also be synced to iCloud.
Looks like it just uses data to record / listens
