Good point. SingTel hi! Postpaid plans inherited two things from Heya.
1) Base plan, 60 days validity with free incoming call
2) Rollover feature

Reference:
1) SingTel hi! 4G PostPaid plan terms and conditions

2) SingTel hi! 4G PostPaid plans FAQ

3) SingTel new Hi! App FAQ, for SingTel hi! 4G PostPaid plans

IMHO.
If it works, all these are not important.

Personally I would not go back to SingTel 4G network myself for my main line, I will stick to the SingTel SIM Only S$15.28 per month recontract offer (5G plan).

And even for 4G plans using SingTel network, I would not choose SingTel hi! S$12/S$10 monthly plan either, as there are more cost effective plans from SingTel MVNOs, Zym/Zero1/VIVIFI/CMLink. This is especially true for CMLink now since CMLink S$10.1 4G plan still has 50% OFF offer and six months free 5G Trial until 18 Dec 2025.

But if heya or now SingTel hi! works for you, why not?

The S$5 per month hi! Senior plan is a different story as I think it is decent deal but I am not qualified.

I would say I don't have these issues because my main line is a Singtel old plan - I pay significantly more.
The rest of the providers I have are experimental. I use Heya 4G as a second SIM most of the time.

Today I was at a mall, no Singtel 5G NSA but managed 4G at 464/9/ping 13. Singtel SA was 696/14/ping 21.
My trusty Heya 4G was 290/29/ping 14 <-- Budget phone.

Interesting that your SingTel 4G speed and ping are really good. That explains why you are okay with SingTel 4G.

Not at my side ...

Singtel is more consistent for me.

That is true. Singtel 5G is more consistent than M1 5G and Starhub 5G. Singtel 4G is more consistent than M1 4G and Starhub 4G.

And for the places I frequent, most of the time I can get 5G SA or 5G NSA, almost never falll-back to 4G at all. I have to force my phone to use 4G LTE in order to test Singtel 4G. But things may get a bit different after the shutdown of 5G NSA.

But if I am not allowed to use Singtel 5G (including Singtel MVNOs' 5G), I will for sure choose M1/Starhub 5G over Singtel 4G. For example, I will go with M1 Maxx S$10 plan and not Singtel hi! S$10/S$12 4G plan.

Basically with my testing, if we do not count fake SIMBA 5G, 5G is always better than 4G with my use cases, even the best Singtel 4G network cannot beat Starhub/M1 5G network.

However, your results of Singtel 4G are so good that it is a different story for you.

5G installations are AFTER 4G. If 5G is not better than 4G .....
Apply the same logic to Simba.

The original number is no longer in use after being ported in (eSIM) to Singtel hi!.

Kindly use the hi! App to set up the SIM with the original number.

Additionally, configuring the eSIM through the app is more convenient than using a QR code.

1) SingTel hi! website says the following.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi
Prefer in-store service or a physical SIM? Visit any authorised retailer to get your hi! Plan.

2) However, when I checked with the three shops at Jurong Point a few weeks ago, none of them were ready.

You may want to check with the authorized shops nearby now to see if the situations change now.
Ok thanks.
i was trying to look for the authorised reseller locations on their website was unable to do so.

Will monitor, not urgent yet.

Singtel Facebook post -- no new promotion in reality other than the S$15 Prepaid plan.

The S$10 port-in promotion has been there since the very beginning for the S$12 hi! 4G plan (PostPaid plan in terms of IMDA classification).

No change for the S$5 Senior hi! Plan (PostPaid plan in terms of IMDA classification).
